Turns out that this movie wasn't fun at all. Something just went horribly awry for director Patrick Sayre somewhere along the way. First of all, there wasn't really much of anything to laugh about throughout most of the movie. I think I laughed once, and that was when Roland woke up with a beard and a changed voice. As for the rest of the movie, it was just bland and sort of pointless.
The storyline failed completely, and the movie turned out to be less then mediocre in terms of entertainment value, laughs, and it was sort of tripping itself by having no real storyline and characters that were just bland.
The acting in the movie was adequate, although the actors and actresses had next to nothing to work with in terms of script, storyline, characters and dialogue.
"Stacy's Mom" had so much potential, but it wasn't utilized and the movie ended up as a terrible wreck. I am rating it a more than generous three out of ten stars, solely because it did have a good production value to it.
If you enjoy comedies, then there are far, far better movies readily available, and there really is no point in why you should waste your time on this one.
