The Simpsons Ride

"The Simpsons Ride" is a motion-simulator ride based on the hit cartoon series. The ride opened at Universal Studios Florida on May 15, 2008 and Universal Studios Hollywood on May 19, 2008.

At both parks, the ride occupies the building that formerly held "Back To The Future... The Ride".

He refused to sign on, citing creative differences. Even though none of his characters have speaking roles, some of them, such as Ned Flanders, Scratchy, Kang and Mr. Burns, cameo in the pre-show and ride portions

Yes, during the queue video portion of the ride, Professor Frink takes a DeLorean time machine back in time in an attempt to save the Institute of Future Technology from becoming Krustyland. However, in the past, Doc Brown is about to sign a contract with a banker called Mr. Friedman to save his Institute, but Frink time travels and crushes Friedman just before Doc is about to sign. Doc complains to Frink that now he has to sell the Institute to Krusty the Clown, who shows up and tells Doc he can get a job at the Krustyland park if he gets a haircut.

Also, in the main ride portion, the Hill Vally clock tower makes an appearance towards the end of the ride in Springfield's town square. Also, a part of the ride where a giant-sized Maggie almost swallows the ride vehicle references Back to the Future: The Ride when the ride vehicle was almost swallowed by a T-Rex.

Finally, the previous construction walls for The Simpsons Ride showed Comic Book Guy wearing Marty McFly's futuristic 2015 jacket from Back to the Future: Part II (1989).
