Devo are set to launch their 2025 “Devo: 50 Years of De-Evolution… Continued” North American tour, kicking off on Thursday, May 1st at The Met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Although the main Destiny franchise is continuing to receive updates after Destiny 2's last expansion, The Final Shape, the announcement of a new mobile game set in the Destiny universe could give fans something else to look forward to. Since the release of the original Destiny in 2014, the franchise has received several expansions and one major sequel, Destiny 2, but developer Bungie has announced no plans to develop more games in the franchise.

As of October 14, however, Destiny: Rising has been announced as a new mobile game set in the Destiny universe, with a cinematic trailer and an upcoming closed alpha test starting on November 1. Currently, the mobile title has no set release date, but interested fans can pre-register for the upcoming closed alpha on the official Destiny: Rising website. The game is being developed and published by NetEase Games, and licensed by Destiny developer Bungie.

Exclusive: Filming has wrapped on Dragn, an under-the-radar horror-sci-fi film, starring James Paxton (Twisters), Carlos Bardem (Assassin’s Creed), Lilly Krug (Plane) and Alice Pagani (Loro).

Peter Webber (The Girl With The Pearl Earing) is directing the movie, which Myriad Pictures will be launching world sales on at next month’s American Film Market in Las Vegas.

The film centers on a group of co-workers on a routine corporate team-building trip which transforms into a nightmare when they unwittingly become the prey of a rogue AI-driven drone. Above is a first-look image.

Webber, also known for Hannibal Rising and Emperor, also co-produces the film which is written by Barry Hutchison (SuperMansion) and Alexander Gordon Smith (The Box), who are also executive-producing via Thunder Mouse Productions. Producer Lane also contributed to the script.

October is going to be quite a big month in Star Wars Comics. We kick off with the final comic event of the year which details the Battle of Jakku, the final event of the Galactic Civil War. Along with it, we have the final issue of a miniseries, so there's a lot to talk about.

Netflix has announced its newest sports series, Starting 5, which will premiere on October 9, 2024. Simone Biles is calling upon another Paris icon to help her tease Part 2 of her Netflix docuseries, “Simone Biles Rising.”

On the heels of the “Emily in Paris” Season 4, Part 1 premiere, the Olympic gymnast parodied memorable lines from Lily Collins’ titular character in a Wednesday teaser — while also revealing her own Oct. 25 return to the streamer for “Rising” Part 2.

“Ever since I moved to Paris, my life has been chaotic and dramatic and complicated,” Biles says, quoting Emily. “Without basic b–hes like me, you wouldn’t be fashionable.”

She concludes, “I’m not somebody who can share a crêpe, I need the whole crêpe.”

Part 1 of “Simone Biles Rising” tracked the athlete’s return to Olympic glory following her decision to step away from the Tokyo 2021 Games due to her mental health. Episodes 1 and 2 touched upon institutionalized racism and sexism within her sport, as well as Biles’ reaction to the Larry Nassar abuse case.

The second part of Netflix’s Simone Biles Rising docuseries will follow the most decorated gymnast of all time from her Olympic trials through her jaw-dropping competitions in Paris earlier this month. Episodes three and four of the series will premiere on Oct. 25.

Oscar-winning director and screenwriter Michel Hazanavicius has voiced his fears over rising antisemitism in a heart-felt opinion piece in France’s Le Monde newspaper.

The French-born director is descended from Jewish grandparents who fled persecution in Lithuania and Poland in the 1920s, making a new life in France, to then find themselves on the run again during World War Two.
