Good idea but the film is low average,it's watchable but very simple

The film was watchable and not too bad for a ultra low budgeted production. The story without giving anything away is unbelievable and it losses even more credibility along the way (especially the conclusion). The three stars are only for a promising idea that could have been half decent with a higher budget and much more thought behind the notion. Low grade Sci-fi, is never the best.

I just watched crated movie and I rlly enjoyed it. It gave me real feelings like what if I'm at the place of them, esp Alex. But I don't like the end bc I dunno what director wanna show at the end,it's annoying ofc. It'll be lght when the movie is explained at the end well and the characters tell what happened.anyway ty for making that movie.

Literally the first 12 minutes of the film were so boring that I stopped watching. Like, we get it, this guy is trapped in a crate. But do we need to watch three minutes of close-ups of his fingers trying to dig out screws from the crate using his car keys? Do we need two full minutes of him slamming his shoulders and feet against the walls trying to break down the crate?
If it's supposed to create a feeling of tension of suspense, it doesn't. It just makes you feel like they had an idea and very little content, so they were forced to create filler footage in order to make the film last an hour.

There are some movies where everything is right for what seems a good 2 hours of entertainment. Naturally you spend the 1st 15 minutes uncovering the who where and why before getting down to the good parts. Thank god for remote controls to help me through the 1st 40 minutes. After that I have no idea. The cast, the plot, the location, all were there. Sadly the director never showed up and they pulled ideas out of a hat to finish the movie. It could and should have been better. I do not put this down as a spoiler but if you are one day locked in a box and when you push against the wall and you can see daylight between the window frame and the wall, it generally suggests it is a house of cards and will implode with one decent kick. It just didn't make sense.

It's all about context. Compared to a Hollywood blockbuster this wasn't awesome (although I've seen Nicholas Cage and Jackie Chan movies that were worse), but given the budget constraints they made brilliant use of their resources. Intriguing story line, good pacing, convincing acting of the main character, decent support actors, nice cinematography, an open ending that leaves you wanting for more. There are worse ways to spend an evening.
I say C-grade because all but one actors even have an IMDb photo and even then, I've never heard of him, and the rest of the cast - including actor, writer, director, producer and editor Kyle Godfrey, are all amateurs/first experience in a film. Also take into account the measly 60k budget, thus all in all not a bad first effort. Everyone has to start somewhere right? The 1 hr long "shorvie" - in between a short and movie, was entertaining. It was well paced, suspenseful, unpredictable, and very well directed. Good score and cinematography. I've seen seasoned filmmakers put out some garbage films lately, where I want to fast forward or end up falling asleep. So taking all of that into consideration, it's a fun 7/10 from me. Never mind the two bogus 10/10's lol
