Clochette et la Pierre de Lune (2009)

FAQ

Clochette et la Pierre de Lune

Tinker Bell is asked by Queen Clarion to create an autumn scepter for the mystical moonstone which, every eight years during the blue harvest moon in Pixie Hollow, creates blue-colored pixie dust to strengthen and rejuvenate the pixie dust tree. When Tink and her dust fairy friend Terence accidentally break the moonstone, Tink sets out in a balloon to find the Enchanted Mirror of Incanta, a magic mirror that has the ability to grant her fondest wish...to restore the shattered moonstone.

The Lost Treasure is the second movie in the Disney Fairies franchise, preceded by La fée Clochette (2008) (2008) and followed by Clochette et l'expédition féerique (2010) (2010), Clochette et le secret des fées (2012) (2012), Clochette et la Fée Pirate (2014) (2014), and Clochette et la créature légendaire (2014) (2014). However, the character of Tinker Bell was first introduced in the 1904 play, Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up and again in the 1911 novel, Wendy and Peter, both by Scottish author, Sir James Barrie. Disney first introduced their version of Tinker Bell to the movie screen in their 1953 animated movie, Les Aventures de Peter Pan (1953). Since then, Tinker Bell has appeared as a leading character in numerous recent videos, illustrated books, and a magazine. The screenplay for Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure was written by Evan Spiliotopoulos.

Yes, all of them—Rosetta, Iridessa, Silvermist, Fairy Mary, Clank, Bobble, Vidia, Terence, Queen Clarion, the Minister of Autumn, Cheese (the mouse), and, of course Tinker Bell—are back for The Lost Treasure. What's more, most of the fairies are voiced by the same actors from the first movie, with the exception of Fawn and the Minister of Autumn.

It's the tree from which they get the pixie dust that makes them fly. At the start of the movie, pixie dust is so limited that it is being rationed, one cup only, to each fairy in Pixie Hollow.

Tink, Terence, and Blaze (the firefly) head back to Pixie Hollow in Tink's balloon. Along the way, Tink gets an idea for how she might fashion the autumn scepter using the pieces of the shattered moonstone. They arrive at the revelry just as the blue moon rises but still in time to unveil the scepter. Everyone is aghast when they see the moonstone in fragments, but when the rays of the blue moon shine through the fragments and start creating more blue pixie dust than ever seen before in Pixie Hollow, Tink is hailed as a genius. Of course, she shares her honor with Terence and Blaze, because she couldn't have done it without them. In the final scene, the fairies wend their way to the pixie dust tree as the narrator says,

The greatest treasures are not gold, nor jewels, nor works of art. They cannot be held in your hand...they're held within your heart, For worldly things will fade away as seasons come and go, But the treasure of true friendship will never lose its glow.
