Incredibly well done!!!

This was a compelling story, told in the most beautiful way. Sarah Carter is one seriously talented female (although that really shouldn't matter) director to watch!!! Cannot wait for more of her work to be shared.

Every aspect of the film was done just right...from the story, to the casting, to the cast telling the story. The look...it was BEAUTIFULLY SHOT, and the total commitment from clearly wvery department involvedin the production was obvious...just terrific!!!

I would really like to see more from the creative involved. I've know of and actually had the chance to work with (100 years ago) the director (Sarah Carter) as an actor, but I was floored by what I believe to be her first gig as a director. Bravo to this up and coming female.force!

Beautiful Film

I saw this film and absolutely loved it! The dramedy follows two estranged sisters who slowly rekindle their relationship, with the LA art scene as a backdrop. It was beautifully shot in black & white, and beautifully performed by its two leading ladies, Erin Hammond and Ciera Danielle. For a debut film by filmmaker Sarah Carter, it was an incredibly impressive feat. She had a real command over her story and her performers. It was a story of love, art, spirituality, and family, and it was a wonderful film to watch. I'm looking forward to seeing whatever she films she writes and directs in the future!!

Must see film!!!

"In Her Name" is a beautifully shot film, thanks to the visionary direction by Sarah Carter. Right from the start, you can tell she's has a unique style and is a story teller. The cinematography is gorgeous, with every shot designed to pull you in and make you feel something.

The performances are top-notch, too, especially from Erin Hammond and Ciera Danielle. They bring so much authenticity and heart to their roles. The connection between the cast and the director is super clear, making the whole film a smooth and engaging watch. It's one of those movies that sticks with you, with its beautiful visuals, emotional depth, and powerful story.

Loved it!

To me this film felt like a moving exploration of family dynamics. It's beautifully directed, acted, and imbued with a message of hope and reconciliation. It's a testament to the transformative power of art and a reminder that even in life's darkest moments, there exists the possibility of redemption and renewal.

I normally only have time to watch half of a movie in one night, but I couldn't stop watching! The director's meticulous attention to detail is evident in every frame, enhancing the narrative's emotional impact and underscoring its thematic depth. It's a film that lingers in the mind.
