Don't Waste Your Time!

This movie boasts stunning cinematography, thanks to the beautiful geographical location where it was filmed. The unique storyline initially caught my attention and was the main reason I decided to pay to watch this film, written by Myles Chlohessy. However, I found the performance of the lead character, Kai Nelson, played by Baylee Toney, to be a major letdown. This appears to be Baylee's first significant acting role, and it shows. Since then, many of the films I've seen her in have felt equally underwhelming and lackluster. Unfortunately, Baylee's performance falls short, making the film seem more amateurish than expected. While she clearly put in effort, the overall execution of the film feels flat. On a positive note, the rest of the cast delivered strong performances, and I commend them for working hard to compensate for Baylee's shortcomings. It's not meant to be harsh, but I truly wish I could get back the 1hr and 38 minutes I spent watching this film.

This film was the Catalyst that Started Myles Clohessy's Downfall

Myles Clohessy, the former co-CEO of BareFoot Kid Productions, was once celebrated for directing, producing, and writing a string of impressive films up until *The Redeemer*. However, after Myles joined forces with Baylee Toney to launch FireSide Films, their work has seen a noticeable decline in both quality and popularity. This shift has even affected their ability to successfully crowdfund their indie films. Although they've been active in writing, directing, and producing, their projects seem to lack the same impact that other production companies are able to achieve. Some of their films have stalled due to budget constraints, while others haven't gained the same traction as those from BareFoot Kid. Despite the numerous indie films they've released, Myles has yet to receive any award nominations or wins, which is concerning. Hopefully, Myles will find a different person to collaborate with who not only shares his passion for filmmaking but can also help him regain his footing and produce standout work once again.
