A young woman, filled with tattoos and piercing, is found dead at the base of a dinosaur skeleton at the Natural History Museum. Astrid realizes she has drowned, even though there is no water nearby. But she also knows about other ways people may drown. This leads to a crime of buying and selling stolen prehistoric animal parts. Astrid makes a discovery when viewing one dinosaur skeleton, where she notices a mistake in its construction.

Astrid continues to be treated with disrespect by the more conventional investigators who scorn her talents. This continues to be a charming and engaging series taking place in Paris.

Several of the characters in this episode have names taken from S.O.S. fantômes (1984), such as Pierre Venkman, Raymond Stan, and the deceased, Dana Barrett.

Goofs
At 6 minutes, Astrid is reluctant 5o cross the police line. She had been told in the previous story that she was authorised to cross the tape. There was no need for her to be reminded here particularly with her autism, she would have taken the situation on board after the previous incident.
