The roster covers hundreds of broadcast, cable and streaming programs debuting throughout 2025, including many still listed as Tba (to be announced). It includes series premieres and season debuts, shows returning from hiatus and some one-offs such as live sports and awards shows but not movies or specials.
Note that older premiere dates are listed at the bottom and that not all PBS outlets premiere their shows on the same day.
As always, we update this post daily as more dates are revealed, so check back often for the latest. We’re glad you tuned in. Additions or adjustments can be sent to editors@deadline.com.

Starring Ben Miller as the titular Professor Jasper Tempest, Professor T. follows the genius criminologist from Cambridge University who has Ocd and lives with his mother. The local police force often asks for Jasper's assistance as he is an astute crime solver.
Jasper has been through the wringer over three seasons. He's solved a number of horrendous cases, fell in love and then fell out, and even spent time in prison for a crime he did not commit. The series has garnered some mixed reviews, which has kept it out of the highest echelons of British crime and mystery shows, but it is...

I’m writing a letter to Richard Curtis on behalf of Frances de la Tour. Release the director’s cut of Love Actually – for the sake of the nation. The silken-voiced Harry Potter and Seventies sitcom star was originally among the crème de la crème British thesps starring in the 2003 film, playing Anne Reid’s dying, bed-ridden partner – but both actors ended up on the cutting room floor. “Oh yes, we had a lovely scene,” she says. “And I think it was the only gay scene,” she remembers. “It’s odd that they cut it. Maybe it was too dark to bring into it. Because it ended up being quite a light and fluffy film, didn’t it?” It could have made the affectionately derided Christmas film into something quite different – more progressive, less cloyingly twee. But, still, Curtis has manners. “At least he wrote to me and said we...

In British director Eddie Sternberg’s feature debut “I Used to Be Famous” – produced by Collie McCarthy at Forty Foot Pictures for Netflix – two sides of the music world clash with each other. Netflix released the trailer for the film Monday (below), and Variety has been given the first-look images, exclusively. The film is one of the first to come out of Netflix’s U.K. Original Slate, commissioned by Fiona Lamptey, director of U.K. features. It will be released in select U.K. theaters from Sept. 9, and on Netflix from Sept. 16.
Sternberg set out to create a film with “a British heart,” he says. “It is made in the vein of ‘The Full Monty,’ ‘Billy Elliot’ and ‘East Is East’ … that sort of heartfelt British film with a bit of grit, with earned heart that doesn’t become cheesy. It’s heartfelt rather than cheesy.” It is set in Peckham,...
