Definitely NOT above a 3. It's OK, B movie genre. Good story plot, could have been done a little better.

I liked the whole idea, and the acting is not too bad either.

Story is kinda original.

Only thing is, it could have been shorter.

Nevertheless, when there is no better thriller/horror around, this overall is not a bad watch.

What Was That? Well we're off to a good start!! Haha.

This movie is about a doctor and a group of his friends and minions that like to turn people into scarecrows. Meaning, they kill them and put them in the cornfield. Been there done that, quite a few times. As usual the villains spend way too much time talking and not enough time doing.

It's really quite stupid. There's some decent gore. But really, this was bad. 2/10.

With a title like 'C. O. R. N: A Field of Screams' it's as stupid as a sketch from Wonder Showzen but not actually a comedy or parody of anything except itself.

Even the meaning 'Collective Order of Recreational Necro philanthropists' is literally the most unrealistic acronym to set up a horror film, a B Grade comedy maybe but hardly believable to set up a horror film. I doubt a group of human taxidermists would even be concerned with having any formal identity.

No spoilers here, the direction and acting is a massive pile of steaming feces. Amazon Prime are flooding their service with crap like this and it's a bubble that has to burst soon, they earnt the worst reputation among streaming services by investing in D grade garbage across all genres.

The actors in this must've gotten together and had their family and friends leave reviews because there's no way this thing has a 3 1/2 star rating on Amazon prime. It's horrible -poorly filmed and acted.

This could have been a decent movie, but i's way too all over the place.

Day becomes night in like 2 seconds. There are rave parties in the middle of no where.

Maybe this was intentional so you didnt know what was what, but it really brings the film down and makes for a tedious watch.

Need some pizazz to spice it up.

The jokes in this movie are hilarious. The actors were great and enjoyed the horror.

It was better than I expected. It was a bit slow starting off, but, it did get better as it progressed. Was entertaining enough to keep you watching. A good watch for any B horror fan.

Story is all over the place. Horrible acting and effects. I tried to stop it but kept thinking it might get better. Nope only worse. I'm trying to be nice and think of one good quality.... Umm ... the closing credits.

Total waste of time. Looks to written and directed by a 7 or 8 year old child.

I wanted to see this movie because of Kennedy Tucker, who i think is a decent actress and a very beautiful Woman. She will gett a decent movie career, she just needs to stay away from this kind of D - MOVIES. Do not even waist your time this, it's that awful, from A to Z.

It's great, story is unique and entertaining, acting is ok for B-movie. Everything about this movie exceeded my expectations of it. I didn't expect to even finish it but it had my total attention. Give it a chance.

Well, that was not a terrible movie but not a great either... The actors are...ok...but nonetheless they are fine.

For sure it could have been so much better but overall its watchable.

Broken down in the Midwest on the eve of Halloween, a brother & sister (Mateus Ward and Kennedy Tucker) meet a Goth-ish local guy (Dylan Riley Snyder) and party at a corn maze. Unfortunately a strange meeting of eccentrics nearby need bodies for their 'art.' Roger Cross plays the stepdad while Robert Donavan is on hand as the leader of the kooks.

"C. O. R. N." (2021), sometimes subtitled "A Field of Screams," is Grade B horror that meshes films like "Freddy vs. Jason" (2003), "Scarecrows" (2017) and "Shadows of the Dead" (2016). With a budget of $950,000, it lacks the production quality of "Freddy vs. Jason," but it's almost on par with "Scarecrows" and superior to the prosaic "Shadows of the Dead."

There's a freestyle manner to the filming/editing, which makes the first 30 minutes iffy in a meandering way. If you can acclimate, however, there are enough highlights to make "C. O. R. N." worthwhile for those who appreciate Indy horror and are in the mode for a flick with lots of Halloween-ish ambiance. The tone is serious, but there's some Vincent Price-like camp with the cult artists, especially Donavan.

Petite beauty Kennedy Tucker as protagonist Tia is worth the price of admission. The commendable female cast also includes the likes of Audra Schildhouse, Meitar Paz and Elise Spicer, amidst peripherals. The writer/director (Robin Christian) thankfully knows how to shoot women, no pun intended.

For those interested, the acronym stands for "Collective Order of Recreational Necro-philanthropists."

The movie is overlong at 1 hour, 42 minutes; it would've worked better at a streamlined 72-90 minutes.

GRADE: B-/C+

This Horror movie wasn't corny, I mean it's pretty a-mazing!!! Okay...so puns aside I really did enjoy this movie or let's call it a cult-ish flick worth the watch.

Worth spending your time on a lazy Sunday afternoon. C'mon, this is not the Omen or anything like that. I didn't watch C. O. R. N expecting a classic. But it's goofy and keeps you entertained, that's if you are a sucker for road trip horror with fields and lamp-posts.

HEY EVERYBODY ITS ME (4) and today we review , return of the revenge of the scarecrows children of the corn field 18 ....the movie !!!!!

It seems everytime i turn around there is a new scarecrow/corn field/ something to do with those two movie going on ....and its a 50/50 if its good or not ..... in this case ...yea i can deal with it ....

here we have a movie about some "teens?" with a step dad going through a out of the way area in the middle of nowhere u.s.a. When uh oh "flat tire " city happens ...then uh oh .... party city for the teens while step dad disappears to find help ....so ...the film is okay but the story is .....rough at times ....for instance ... 2 days of the dad being gone and the young adults are so concerned that they are just parting the entire time .... and the fact that random teens from the near by town accept the new people into their party crew like no big deal is unrealistic as it gets ... like suddenly welcome to our party cult ...lol... no suspicions of them being undercover .... or where they came from ...just "hey randos come crash our party, then be invited to come part y the next day at the swimming hole too ...THEN that next night also ....... like ... wow .... these kids literally party ALL THE TIME .....no home lives ......no eating ...just drink and screw and drugs and do it again the next day ..........oh movie logic lol

other than THAT plot oddness .... they did do a decent job with there red herrings for this one .... keeping you guessing "whos who" on the bad guys team .... you DO have the obvious happen ... BUT they did surprise you too ....

the MAIN story was cool having it be about artists etc and all that , so good job there ........over all ... it had some good moments it could have been cut down to be a little over an hour though NOT 1:42 good lawd ..... it was like sitting through syrup ..... SLOW .....half the party crap could have been left on the editing floor .... i mean WE GOT IT ...THEY LOVE TO PARTY !!!!!!! The half @$$ love story arch ?? Not needed for the brother thing ...it went no where AT ALL ....so easy cuts there for time ..... and that would have left the film with a much more "exciting" pacing .... more to the point and just ROAR !!! Vibe to it instead of a bit of back and forth , to the house and back to party ,,..and back to the house and back to a party ... and ........

characters were good enough .... the "daughter" was ............ugh ........acting throughout was fine until her ....sorry kid but they should have casted someone else for the part ...maybe even a card board cut out could have done better .........watching her act was like watching my grandma try to eat soup with a fork .... IT DIDNT WORK !!!!!!!!!!! At all ... every one else did a pretty good job ..... i liked the doctor dude ...otis looked like an otis ...lol.... but that "little" girl .... jesus ..... just ...i mean ..... you do know you have a face right ? .... and it has the ability to move ? Generally all humans come with the "expressions" mode .... you just click that on and BAM acting ......

okay okay ....

so anyways WAS the film entertaining ? ...

yea it was .... had a lot of cool ideas and such ... so ill give it a solid 7/10 for having some fresher ideas and a good mix of different things throughout the film to keep it going ......
