LMN formula to a T: women are strong, but gullible and shallow (they will hop in the sack with anyone who's cute- even if they have only known them for an hour); men are tools, and law enforcement is useless.
We love most of the LMN movies but wish the characters would sometimes not be formula.

A woman cheats on her husband, and the movie (and female reviewers here of course) portray her as a victim.
Same movie with the genders reversed and it would be, 'That's what he gets for cheating! She should leave him.' Such is todays world.

Angela is happily married, despite the fact that her husband cheated on her once, a decade ago. When she reads some suspicious texts and discovers an earring, she immediately thinks he is cheating again-and has a revenge encounter with Franco, hubby's accountant. What she doesn't know is that Franco is a psychopath who isn't exactly a good sport when he's dumped. He slowly, coldly, and methodically plans the ruin of Angela's life-and soon she is living in terror. As my headline says, this movie will make you think twice about having a one night stand!
As usual, the female character cheats on her significant other and suffers no negative consequences. This is some lesson to be teaching younger girls and young women. I watched this with my wife and she chuckled and said, "I can cheat and get away with it." I let her know that I suddenly viewed her much differently than I had a moment before. This story is no different from many others, in that the women lack any real moral fiber, the male character is oblivious to what is going on and the other characters are there as window dressing and the plot holes are big enough to drive a truck though. As for my wife, she has come to realize her words have opened a hole in my thought about her. Too late to close it now.
One of the so many stereotypes we have seen over and over. Mediocre acting, predictable story, rather forgettable film.
My vote 3/10.

- TriviaWhile filming the opening party scene a background actor playing a party guest had to be reprimanded for incessantly trying to talk with Jade Tailor in between takes. The background actor later left the shoot early before the scene had wrapped forcing production to re-film some shots of Greg's toast speech where he had been in the background to fix continuity.
- GoofsAngela tells Claire she needs to go to her husband's office to find out where Franco lives. But she already knows because she slept with him at his house.
