The show is well made, but nothing can compensate weak writing. The characters fail to develop, too many plots with not enough screen time for any one. Finally, ends in a cliched predictable line. Execution quality is clearly visible though, which makes it bearable and one time watch. But nothing to look forward to, may not even watch a second season, if any.
The biggest disappointment of the web series is the plot! To create a web of suspense and screwed up family relationships, they stretched the script to the extent that it got boring.
A superlative whodunnit in the Indian web series space. Investigation has loop holes but you don't mind them as the journey upto the revelation keeps you hooked and the director just makes you see and hear what he wants to and not otherwise. Backed by some amazing performances by Atul Kulkarni, the badass Ashvini Bhave, Kunal Kapoor and Neil Bhoopalam. Delight to see marathi heartobe lalit Prabhakar igniting the screen. A great watch
Must watch webseries. It about family, betrayal, secrets and power. It keep you guessing and every character had grey shades. There are some twist and turns and the end is a surprise. Everyone understood their character very well and gave their best - Parul's character was not 100% convincing for me. Few actors that really left an impact on me was Kunal Karan Kapoor, Atul KulKarni, Ashwini Bhave and Lalit Prabhakar. Waiting for season2.

The Raikar case :Web series streaming on Voot Select
This 7 episode whodunit by Aditya Sarpotdar is an excellent binge watch option for fans of this genre.
The series starts off with a young scion of a powerful business clan falling off a cliff & committing suicide. A simple open and shut case right ? No.. wait , this is where the fun begins. Is the truth as simple as it looks or is there something else lurking in the shadows. It depicts the lives of a powerful business family from Goa, the Naik Raikars where every member of the family has a secret to hide and everybody has a shade of grey in them. Each episode has been slickly directed and starts off with the enactment of the suicide/murder of the young scion by each of the suspects. Murky business deals, political ambitions, sexual perversions & illicit affairs are all woven intricately in the storyline which makes it an interesting watch.
The casting has been very well handled with Atul Kulkarni, Neil Bhoopalam, Parul Gulati, Ashwini Bhave, Kunal Karan Kapoor , Lalit Prabhakar & Ajay Purkar playing their parts very well. Atul Kulkarni & Ashwini Bhave have really given standout performances.
Each episode is cleverly written to tempt the viewer to binge on to the next one.
Not as intense as Asur, this one is a great watch for viewers who like mysteries served less dark. Eagerly waiting for Season 2.
