Tom Segura: Ball Hog

I like Tom, but this was just ok. Tom is good in spurts, but for an entire hour I was a little disappointed. Imagine Louis CK and Chris D'Elia having a baby. Only that baby has a colic issue. That is what this is like. We all love our babies, but colic adds a slight dislike.

Normally love Tom Segura, but this one was different then usual. Usually his jokes are funny and offensive, but this time they were offensive and intending to be funny only because of that, which fell flat.

I was really excited for Tom Segura's new special. Couldn't just wait to watch it. However, having watched it, I have to say it was just Okay for me. Falls short compared to his previous specials.

The writing was super lazy, straight forward, and predictable. The special was funny at times but not really in a way that was clever or witty. I found some of the jokes he said to be funny but in a crude and abrasive way. He tries to be edgy and offend people with his raunchiness but it gets stale and tiresome quickly. Though I find this type of humor to be enjoyable at times, particularly when I watch his podcast, I was disappointed by this special because I had higher hopes for what this special had to offer. It didn't really seem like he brought his A game this time around and it really shows. If I wasn't a fan and was watching this for the first time I probably would've left a harsher review.
