Trivia

A Series of Light

Edit
The post production of the series was halted by several incidents, including technical issues with a server, the coronavirus pandemic, and a bomb threat which lead to Thomas J. Harkness (Post Production Manager), Gage Oxley (Director) and Michael Houghton (Assistant Director) being evacuated by the army.
The entire budget of the series was £4,500. Showrunner Gage Oxley said in an interview with Viddy Well "Everyone on the team volunteers their time and talent, including cast and crew, with everyone being under the age of 25. We offer a foot in the door to an industry which is difficult at the best of times, but can be remarkably intimidating to any young person from a minority or disadvantaged background. I'm so proud to do what I do, not only because of the direct change our films make, but also to the offer we provide to every person we work with."
The entire series only took 11 days to shoot, not including the suspended shoot day of "Limelight" due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "Greenlight" and "Redlight" were shot in one day each. "Whitelight", "Starlight", "Blacklight" were shot in two days each. The season finale "Limelight" took three days to film.
When on set of Episode 1.1 ("Greenlight"), showrunner Gage Oxley didn't have plans for the film to sit in an anthology series, they initially intended for it to be a standalone film.
