Far be it from me to drag down what might be a perfect show for little kids. However I was expecting at least the personalities of characters from the original movie to be in place:
Alex The Lion: friendly and constantly suppresses his predator instincts Gloria The Hippo: Opinionated and empowered Melman The Giraffe: Hypochondriac extreme, sick all the time Marty The Zeba: Carefee and often careless, clumsy, friends with Alex
Add to this a no show of popular characters that were in the movie:
King Julien The Lemur: Smug and vain ruler, loves to move it move it Mort: King Julien's lackey, completely ingratiating, quite brave actually
Top Secret Penguins: Kowalski,Skipper, Private, and Rico.
Now I understand the main characters in here are supposed to be younger, possibly pre-teen, but this particular show could've used ANY character or theme at all as the ones presented in here act pretty well all the same as any other kid's show. Vanilla and boring with no real distinctive traits of any kind and plenty of songs to teach little children the basics of life. Wow.
It's a waste to call this "Madgascar" as that particular movie had some interesting personalities and conflicts between the main characters that was both delightful and interesting to observe - something not at all even remotely appearing in this series.

A Little Wild has to be one of the worst shows of all time... heck it might be even the worst show DreamWorks ever, oh better yet... IT'S PROBABLY THE ALL TIME WORST SHOW EVER MADE!
This show isn't a good Madagascar Show. Hell it's even not even a good show. Unlike All Hail King Julien & Penguins of Madagascar (the TV Show, not the Movie), this one was made by people who don't know Madagascar. It's like this show was only made to capitalize on an old franchise. A cash grab at best.
Although there were some ok episodes, and while some of the characters are just mixed... MOST OF THE EPISODES SUCK! 0/5.

I originally was trying to make my 5 y/o brother watch this with me but he said no so i watched it anyway by myself and i can honestly say this series has changed my life with only 6 episodes, the music spoke to me i felt the emotions i felt when melman needed that cheering up😔 everything was so beautifully written, it made me laugh, cry, mad and cry even more but it has changed my life forever. once the soundtrack drops on spotify i will be playing it whenever i get the aux. the acting and animation was beyond what i could've ever asked for and i only have good words for this series. thank you.
Great T. V. show for my boys. Goodnight and good morning songs are cute and catchy. My kids love the animals and they sing motivational songs that teach great lessons. OH and the monkeys use sign language when talking.
I think the creator needs to make a soundtrack of the songs because I find my kids wanting to hear them.

I have a very active 5 year old and very few cartoon animations catch her attention. However, this one truly does! We have to watch episodes over and over and over and.....
Thanks for great character voices, content, great catchy songs and animation.
