The entire film is improvised by the actors following an outline written by Mostafa Keshvari.

The film was shot in a single take in an elevator before the pandemic. Mostafa Keshvari, the filmmaker, got the idea in early January while riding the elevator and reading the news about racist attacks on Asian tourists around the world. The film was shot and wrapped a month after.
