“Star Wars” thrives in animation. Even if the earliest animated efforts like the Boba Fett short in the “Holiday Special” or the “Ewoks” cartoon weren’t exactly good, the past 20 years has seen the franchise produce some astonishing animated visuals and storytelling on TV. Whether it’s the cultural and visual variety of the “Star Wars Visions” shorts that reimagine what’s possible in the galaxy far, far away, or “Star Wars Rebels” delivering a mature and thematically complex story, animation is a medium perfectly suited for the endless imagination and creativity of “Star Wars.” And yet, no show has quite exploited that potential quite like Genndy Tartakovsky’s “Clone Wars.”
The show was developed and directed by Tartakovsky as a way of filling in the gap between Episodes II and III, showing the events of the eponymous Clone Wars and how it forever changed the Republic and the breakaway Separatists.

Kaito Kid or Kaito Kuroba is a recurring character in the Detective Conan or Case Closed franchise. While he stars in the Magic Kaito anime, his role between the two series differs as they exist in different canons with different rules. The Detective Conan movies also take in a separate canon from the anime. The phantom thief acts as both a rival and ally to Conan Edogawa in both parts of the franchise. However, Kid has been confirmed to know much more about Conan in the movies, which gives the two leads a slightly different dynamic from their anime counterparts. Kid plays a large part in several movies, which gives him unique relationships with Ran Mori, Heiji Hattori and Makoto Kyogoku among others.
Kaito Kid is in ten of the Detective Conan movies, but he doesn't have an equal role in all of them. On top of that, both 3D Movie 1: Conan vs.

Sometimes the pleasure of a good Lifetime film is how ridiculous it is. But there’s something to be said for a simple, grounded story done well.
Trapped in Her Dorm Room has the potential to be completely over the top. As written by Casey John, however, the story about an obsessive, entitled man who imprisons his crush in her college room over Spring Break is chillingly plausible.
Erin Wallace (Ciara Hanna) is a promising art student living a relatively sheltered life. She’s a scholarship student, which means she’s obsessed with her grades, much to the chagrin of her roommate Kaley (Aja Hinds), who wants her to cut loose and come to Daytona Beach for Spring Break. Erin demurs, arguing that she needs the quiet time to work on a major project.
Her decision appeals to Cade Rowlands (Will Sparks III), the nice guy in Erin’s program...

Since 2012, with its first theatrical release, A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III, A24 has been hooking audiences with a distinct style emphasizing unbridled creativity. Many A24 films earn an R-rating, allowing filmmakers to push the boundaries with taboo subjects, steering away from the fear of studio interference if a film isn't seen as particularly palatable for general audiences.
With so many R-rated films, it's hard to narrow down the best of the best, as each A24 film is unique in presentation and structure, even if it's from the same director. From bone-chilling horror movies to gripping dramas, these R-rated A24 flicks exhibit true artistry and an extensive knowledge of the craft of filmmaking that's difficult to achieve.

From writer/director Ti West, X serves as the primary film in perhaps A24's most popular series.

The horror genre possibly harbors the most valuable props you can think of. Freddy's glove, Leatherface's chainsaw and, why not, the cup used by the lady in Get Out to hypnotize Chris. Most horror movies have a specific object that fans would like to own. And as it turns out, you can actually buy one of horror's most precious objects:Evil Dead's Necronomicon, a.k.a. the Book of the Dead, which is activated upon reciting some incantations to summon the visciously playful and wicked demons from Sam Raimi's franchise.

This article contains spoilers for "1923" season 2, episode 3, "Wrap Thee In Terror."
Taylor Sheridan's "Yellowstone" property is synonymous with violence, tragedy, and cowboying, but at its core, the saga is all about the importance of family. The ever-expanding Western-flavored universe chronicles the Dutton family tree from 1883 until the present day, introducing viewers to various characters from the unit as they fight to protect their land from outsiders. Despite featuring a long lineage of family members, however, there are plenty of things the franchise has yet to reveal about their history, including the mystery behind the grandparents of John Dutton III (Kevin Costner).
Little is known about John's grandparents, but "Yellowstone" season 4's "Phantom Pain" episode reveals that his grandfather lost a leg during the war. With that in mind, it's easy to assume that Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) and Alexandra Dutton (Michelle Randolph) gave birth to John's father, as "1923" establishes...

Baldur’s Gate 3 is known for its customizable experience that gives players much freedom to approach the game in many different ways. Similarly, it is even possible to take on a Lotr-inspired Frodo challenge that offers a similar experience to take on his actual journey.

The Frodo challenge in Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most difficult challenges in the game, precisely because it requires you to take on the attributes of a halfling with limited weapons, no armor, and no combat abilities. Your only ally is your wit.

Chanel Dupree-dimera Warned
On Monday, March 3, expect Chanel to get a warning. This warning will come from Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd).
When Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) overheard Tate’s conversation, Sophia exaggerated about the new potential adoptive parents. Sophia went as far as to claim that Chanel and Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) are super religious.
Sophia added that Chanel even runs the women’s Bible group.
Chanel won’t want to lie to Amy.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 was one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year, but the series has been struggling so massively that it could easily be the final season. As Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 ended, viewers were already incredibly excited for the idea of the next season. The series, a spin-off of the original Below Deck, has been primarily focused on the crew of Parsifal III, led by Captain Glenn Shephard. While Captain Glenn works with a similar crew in the on and off seasons, he’s a big part of the series.
Throughout the hiatus between Below Deck Sailing Yacht seasons, viewers were excited at the idea of being able to see the crew working together the way they have in the past. While the last season heavily featured the love triangle between Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, Chief Engineer Colin MacRae, and First Officer Gary King,...

James "Clubber" Lang (Mr. T.) was the villain of Rocky III, but he also had a legitimate grievance against Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and his manager, Mickey Goldmill (Burgess Meredith). Written and directed by Sylvester Stallone, Rocky III was a box office smash in 1982. Tonally and stylistically different from the first two movies in the Rocky franchise, Stallone's threequel was a soft reboot that brought Rocky into the 1980s, fusing his seminal boxing movie franchise with the flashy, rock video energy of MTV.
Five years after winning the heavyweight championship of the world from Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), Rocky Balboa is riding high in Rocky III. Now a millionaire and celebrity, Rocky is a dominant champion with ten successful title defenses. However, the gravest threat to Rocky's title emerges in Clubber Lang, the undefeated number one contender. Naturally, Clubber wants to crush Balboa and become champion, but he can't...

In early January, Netflix released a brand-new Western TV show that has been gaining traction with viewers, and unfortunately, its success highlights a major issue with Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone franchise. The Western genre has long been a pillar of entertainment, ranging from the days of John Wayne to more recent entries like No Country for Old Men and Bone Tomahawk. Since 2018, Yellowstone has brought neo-Western stories to the small screen, following the Dutton family as they grapple for control of their Wyoming ranch. Yet, Yellowstone is not necessarily a pinnacle of the true Western.
At the moment, Netflix is racking up incredible viewership on its new series, American Primeval. Created by Mark L. Smith, who wrote movies like The Revenant and Twisters, this Western follows a mother and son fleeing their dark past in Utah. However, their intentions are muddied by the growing war between the Mormon religion and Wild West culture.

George Lucas sought to expand on his film saga when he created Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a series that led to radical changes for many beloved Star Wars characters. Covering the three-year gap between Star Wars Episodes II and III, The Clone Wars fleshed out the stories of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and new characters like Ahsoka Tano. Some of the franchise's best stories were told throughout The Clone Wars' seven-season run.
However, several characters from the Star Wars movies and the original Star Wars Expanded Universe (now known as "Legends") were significantly changed for The Clone Wars. The original Clone Wars multimedia project of books, comics, and more was completely overridden by The Clone Wars, as Lucas' cinematic Star Wars projects were not required to adhere to the EU. While The Clone Wars is now the definitive canon timeline, it's worth analyzing how Lucas' version affected these Star Wars characters.

Christopher Reeve will always be the Man of Steel to millennials and Generation X. The Cavill-Corenswet discourse doesn’t bother them. However, during the original series of movies, the role wasn't always a guarantee for Reeve. He almost didn’t get the part in the first place, and then he almost lost it. Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Warren Beatty, James Caan, Burt Reynolds, and a bunch of other famous actors were ahead of Reeve on the priority list, but they all hated spandex.
Others, like Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, lobbied hard for the role, but fate works in mysterious ways, and action movie fans will always be secretly glad they weren’t selected. After all, the world would have been weird with Stallone as Superman instead of John Rambo.

So, you’ve created a legendary horror icon. What’s next? A sequel, obviously! But not just any sequel. A sequel that would conjure a brand new boogeyman. A sequel that wouldn’t actually feature Candyman at all. Nor the man who brought him to life: Tony Todd. What in the Halloween III am I talking about? You’ll find out in today’s video… what happened to Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh.
Back in the early 90s director Bernard Rose pitched the original Candyman to Propaganda Films producer Steve Golin. Golin had low expectations for the film and was unhappy from start to finish. In the 1970s, Sylvester Stallone became synonymous with the Rocky movies. Both the first film in 1976 and its sequel in 1978 cemented the underdog boxer as an iconic character, endearing the actor to millions around the globe. Rocky III in 1982 further proved his drawing power, as the film grossed $270 million at the box office against a budget of $17 million. However, that same year, Stallone started a new cinematic legacy that has stood the test of time, and it's finally found a new streaming home.
Per Paramount+, First Blood hits the streaming service today, Jan. 1, giving fans a chance to relive the origins of John Rambo, the disenfranchised Vietnam War vet who returns home only to be further traumatized by a small-town sheriff. Based on the excellent 1972 novel by author David Morrell, First Blood helped kick off Stallone's career as a bona fide action star, and was a smash hit with audiences.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 villain Danni Warren has become unwatchable this season, leaving many wondering which Below Deck alumni could take her place aboard Parsifal III. Throughout Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, viewers have had the opportunity to meet several new yachties who are excited to get to know each other and work aboard Captain Glenn Shephard’s sailing yacht. Below Deck has produced many memorable cast members over the years, and here are eight that we think should come back in 2025. After years of the original, Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Down Under, and Below Deck Adventure, and Below Deck Sailing Yacht have also introduced countless new crew members to the fold of the hit Bravo franchise. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 is currently airing, with plenty of drama unfolding week to week.
Bad boy Gary King remains tangentially interested in Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, who is still reeling from her ill-fated boatmance with former Chief Engineer Colin Macrae. However, Deckhand Chase Lemacks has proven to be the catch onboard the Parsifal III, with stews Diana Cruz and Danni Warren ready to throw hands for his affections. They're not the only memorable cast members we're hoping to see on our screens in 2025.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Daisy Kelliher has been Chief Stew aboard Parsifal III for several seasons, but I’m convinced this charter season will be her last after some serious drama. While Daisy, who joined the series during Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 alongside her fellow yachties Colin MacRae and Gary King, has been a fixture on the show for years, her time with her fellow Parsifal III crew has been more of a struggle this season. After the issues with Colin and Gary on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4, Daisy’s return for this charter season was shocking.
Throughout Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, Daisy has been working hard to maintain a new normal. After her relationship with Colin blew up after the last charter season, Daisy returned to the show with some major tension between herself and Gary. While nothing romantic had happened between the pair, his...

Paul McCartney has set a New Year’s resolution for himself: Finish his next album.
In a short Q&a with fans on his website, McCartney confirmed that he’s “been working on a lot of songs,” but had to put the album “to the side” because of his Got Back Tour (which launched in 2022 and finally wrapped this month with a special London show featuring Ringo Starr and Ronnie Wood).

Though we’re still more than a week away from 2025, Paul McCartney has already shared his New Year’s resolution. While answering fan questions on his official website, the Beatles member revealed that he hopes to “finish a new album.”

He continued, “So, how’s about that? ‘My New Year’s resolution is to finish a new album!'”
McCartney’s last solo album, McCartney III, was released in December 2020. Several months later, he shared a covers project called McCartney III Imagined featuring contributions from Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent, Beck, and more.

This article contains mention of suicide.
Yellowstone has sadly come to an end after the season 5 finale, and it all happened without Kevin Costner's John Dutton III, since the actor exited the show in 2023. If Costner had stuck around for the second part of Yellowstone season 5, things might have been a lot different. However, the neo-Western drama TV show created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson has seemingly concluded (unless the rumors about Yellowstone season 6 still happening are true), and John's story is over.
A few days ahead of the Yellowstone series finale, Deadline reported that a spinoff revolving around Rip and Beth, with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser set to reprise their roles, is officially in development.
The Yellowstone season 5, part 2 premiere revealed that John died presumably by suicide, but viewers (and Beth) knew that wasn't the truth. In reality, Sarah Atwood hired assassins to kill John. They staged it as a suicide,...

Saw is the series that just won’t stop. Some horror fans love these movies, others write them off as nothing but torture porn, but movie-goers usually show up to give them healthy box office returns. Not only did the most recent film, Saw X, wind up making over $100 million worldwide, but it also earned the franchise’s best reviews since the original. Tobin Bell received raves for his shockingly empathetic portrayal of Jigsaw, and in welcome news to fans of the franchise, Sax XI is already in production for a release this fall! Todays marks the moment when one phase of the DC universe has come to an end, while another officially begins. All eyes have been trained intently on DC Studios co-ceo James Gunn and, specifically, the grand unveiling of his newest reboot of the Man of Steel with "Superman." Our first look at the poster for the film earlier this week went a long way towards teasing the new tone and style in Gunn's approach to the material, particularly with the deceptively effective tagline of "Look up." Not only does this riff on the world-famous, "Look, up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superman!" quote but, to state the obvious, it also strongly implies that this version of the character is one who will inspire humanity to symbolically look up to the superhero as an aspirational figure. Now, we have a whole new trailer to devour...

Cara Maria Sorbello‘s dream of a fourth championship came to an end on Wednesday night’s episode of The Challenge: Battle of the Eras. The Era II veteran was taken out by Era III’s Tori Deal in an elimination that lasted nearly three hours, treading water in the ocean off the coast of the Philippines. It was the last elimination before the this season’s epic final.
“I’m stubborn and I just wanted to survive,” she tells Gold Derby. (Watch Cara Maria’s full exit interview above.) “I wanted to make it through and I wanted to get to that final. Everything happens the way it’s meant to and, at the end of the day, Tori just pulled it out. She had a great season and she definitely earned it.”
Throughout the grueling challenge, Cara Maria says they were being eaten alive by mysterious sea creatures.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: 8 Reasons Chase Lemacks Will Be A Better Deckhand Than Emma Crouch, Ranked
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has been difficult thus far, but with Emma Crouch being fired and her replacement Chase Lemacks changing the exterior team, things are already improving for the series. Chase, who first appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 as one of the deckhands on the crew of Parsifal III, had an interesting first season on the series. While he was working hard aboard the charter sailing yacht, Chase was contending with First Officer Gary King who had some intense drama during the last season of the series.
Gary, who’s been part of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2, has been a longtime member of the crew, and his issues with Chase were apparent quickly on the show. Gary’s animosity toward Chase drew out a lot of his drama throughout Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4, but his expertise on deck and his charming personality worked to...

Gary King has become a problematic figure on Below Deck Sailing Yacht throughout the years, but luckily, there are several standout Below Deck franchise cast members who could replace him for season 6. As a South African yachtie with years of experience, Gary has certainly proven himself as a competent leader aboard the Parsifal III. However, his personal issues cast a shadow over his professional prestige in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5.
Gary was accused of sexual misconduct while filming a previous season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht by former Bravo production employee Samantha Suarez. While accompanying a drunken Gary back to his room as requested by the filming crew, Gary allegedly attempted to trap Samantha in his room, though she managed to escape. Gary denied all accusations, and Bravo cleared him of wrongdoing. However, it's still time to replace Gary. Here's who could be a good fit.

Spoiler Alert for Yellowstone season 5, episode 13, "Give the World Away."The penultimate episode of Yellowstone season 5 confirms Taylor Sheridan's neo-Western drama will top the Dutton story with a vital scene. The sixth-generation Duttons have a slow-paced outing in what could be the second-to-last Yellowstone episode, with potentially just one installment left in the whole story, as Sheridan has yet to issue an official verdict on Yellowstone season 6. The show has a lot of details to wrap up, and some stories may go unfinished. Still, the Yellowstone season 5 finale will doubtlessly feature one scene, confirmed by Kelly Reilly's Beth Dutton in "Give the World Away."

There may be a massive surplus of films and TV shows that tell the story of Jesus, but The Chosen has made history by being the first multi-season series about the prominent Christian figure. The show boasts an impressive cast of characters played by a number of talented actors, many of whom have had previous experience with other biblical-themed projects. The Chosen tells the story of Jesus of Nazareth, his life and works, and the people who knew him. While closely following biblical texts, the series isn’t afraid to take dramatic liberties without smearing the importance of its message.

Even though Kevin Costner memorably left Yellowstone following season 5, part 1's finale, his character, John Dutton III, is still very much a part of the show's last set of episodes, both spiritually and physically. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has been tough because of Gary Kings scandal and its impact on the series, but I think the series is making some major changes in preparation for its next season. Throughout Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, Gary has been primarily shown in ancillary shots and meaningless moments. The First Officer, whos been part of the show since Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 and works aboard Parsifal III during and outside of filming, has been dealing with some difficult personal issues after being accused of sexual misconduct. Gary currently vehemently denies the accusations.

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher used to be a fan favorite in the Below Deck franchise, but she might become a villain in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5. The Irish Chief Stew has appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht since season 2, replacing Chief Stew Jenna MacGillivray. Known for her no-nonsense attitude and dry humor, Daisy is one of the most entertaining figures in the franchise. However, her reputation began to shift after her love triangle with former Chief Engineer Colin Macrae and series bad boy Gary King.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 is already rife with conflict, and Daisy is at the center. Gary's sexual misconduct incident looms large over his presence on the show, with Gary accusing production of editing him out due to pushback. He denied all accusations of wrongdoing, but it's unclear what role Gary's bad behavior played in the alleged incident. Onboard, Gary and Daisy are both struggling with their crew.

The Clerks saga holds up as a great trilogy, but some of its movies are better than others. Across three decades, Kevin Smith made three Clerks movies. He started his filmmaking career with the indie original, released in 1994, then revisited the fan-favorite characters in 2006's Clerks II before concluding their story in 2022 with Clerks III. The heart of the trilogy is the endearing friendship shared by Dante Hicks and Randal Graves. The first two movies focus on their everyday antics at their jobs, while the final chapter is about their efforts to immortalize those antics on film.

Stew Danni Warren is in danger of getting fired on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 after a few mishaps. Danni joined the season as a brand-new cast member as a junior stew. Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Daisy Kelliher Should Be Canceled (Her Red Flags Are Waving In The Breeze)
Below Deck Sailing Yachts Daisy Kelliher has been difficult to deal with all season long, and at this point, she should be canceled for her many red flags. While Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has had some bright spots, the majority of the season has been tough for viewers to get through. With the drama surrounding Gary King, the First Officer of Parsifal III, left offscreen for the majority of the season thus far, there has been more focus on Daisy and the issues shes had with her stews. Daisy, the Chief Stew, has struggled with her management style.
Daisys been part of the Below Deck franchise for years, but her time on the series has been different than some of the other Chief Stews in the franchise. Working as a Chief Stew on Parsifal III since Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2, Daisy has been around some of the same crew members since her start.
