I like the very short budget format.
Bingeable.
Bits of dark humor.
Comments on society.
Some familiar hollywood faces.
Reccomended.

First of all, this wasn't what I expected. It's like 20 very short sketches based on common themes like guilt and authenticity. Each sketch is only a couple of minutes long linked together by Bill Burr monologues. Bill's monologues are the best part of the show. Some of the sketches are great, some just OK and a few suck. All the sketches are dark but never go over the line, pretty safe stuff really. I really liked the ending though.
Nice short format, didn't feel too rushed.
Bill, perfect, the little holes in his scalp from the hairplugs will haunt my nightmares forever.
I rushed the last 2 episodes but the bill scenes, didn;t miss much.

Its brilliant! The style, the actors, the cinematography. It's like Chappelle's show but darker, shorter and more modern. Top it off with an unfiltered Bill Burr as a "host" of sorts and you've got a brilliant recipe for a show! Think of the possibilities to come! I love it keep em coming.

A quick succession of dark, witty, hilariously twisted shorts, strung together by thematic elements, a season of The Twilight Zone, with a sense of humor, crammed into an hour and a half. Also Bill Burr is talking.

Hardest I've laughed in years. Unfiltered and original.
Watching this show is like listening to the most interesting man in the world throwing witty one-liners at you non stop that make you go - "dang, why didn't I come up with that?"

This show is so good I want the friggin blu ray. That ending is too good! We need more bill! Each story is different and none are connected. Kind of dark but it's halarious as well.

At a time where we are being flooded with super hero films and remakes, this kind of dark comedy is what we really need. Using actual comedians instead of comedic actors that play the same dang character in everything they're cast in was a treat. Also how great is it to see Madrigal in his dream role as a doctor, how about making him play a Mexican immigrant so he can both pain and challenge himself.
The ending made me sad, but this whole series is perfect. So many times I actually laughed out loud, which not a lot of media does for me anymore. It is a perfect show with reality coming at you hard and fast throughout. Wonderful. I love it. I would love a season 2.
I can't review it yet because I've only watched the first 3 shorts. However, it's pretty funny in a tragic way. Details were left out with Bill Burr as the mechanic. He should have dirty fingernails and callous fingers. That's just nitpicking. But what really got me stumped is the 80s synth song that I can't remember where Ive heard it before. Most likely a tv theme from a popular 80s show. If you recognize it, please post!! I'll update this once I watch more. I only got through 3 of the shorts. To be continued...

I love this man.
Dark, hilarious comedy put through theatric form. And starts with monologues and take themes from the monologue to portray those bit of weird, dark comedy. Enjoyed most of the episodes. They should continue this series. Loved it.

I got to say I love Bill Burr already but I came in to this show thinking it was a stupid sketch comedy thing with one liners, It kinda is but they also do full small sketches with comedians and actors combined. Have to say I have not laughed harder then any other thing minus maybe Dave Chappelle specials this year, the sketches all had me laughing to tears, this is better then a stand up special for Bill, keep up the amazing work.
Burr is a comedic genius, period. This is exactly what comedy effects should be : an unfiltered delivery that could be interpreted in various ways. I really loved how several times, I had a delay in my laughing response due to the crudness of the themes. I need more of this.

How have I not seen this until now in 2025. Why wasn't there a Season Two? There are some messed up minds thinking up these stories and almost all of them are fantastic. The exception is that DJ episode, I thought that was the weakest of the bunch. I really didn't see the point of the narrator Rick, I thought it was just a chance for Bill to try out new very funny material. But the last episode explained everything with a nice twist to tie it all together. Like a nice rug. All the episodes were short and to the point. I really enjoy this and hope Bill has the time to make a second season at some point.
