2 Years After Cancellation, ‘Better Call Saul’ Producer’s Unaired Sci-Fi Comedy Sets Release Date on a Free Streamer
Image
Demascus has been brought back from the grave. After two years in limbo following its cancellation by AMC Networks before its debut, the six-part sci-fi comedy series has finally found a new, free home. According to Deadline, Tubi reached a deal with AMC to pick up the show at long last, which is now being billed as a Tubi Original and will premiere on August 7. It hails from playwright and Clipped writer Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm and Better Call Saul executive producer Mark Johnson and stars Okieriete Onaodowan as the titular lead.

Originally slated to release in 2023, Demascus was axed amid a major cost-cutting effort at AMC that saw the demise of several series, including Invitation to a Bonfire and second seasons of 61st Street, Pantheon, and Moonhaven. At the time, it was part of a troubling trend of scrapping completed projects for tax purposes, as seen with Warner Bros. and Batgirl.

One Of The Best New Netflix Shows Of 2025 Has A Brilliant, Brutal Twist
Image
Raphael Bob-Waksberg more or less reinvented adult animation when he created "BoJack Horseman." Sure, much like another adult animated show that debuted around the same time, "Rick and Morty," "BoJack" dabbled in absurdism and experimentation. But the thing that made Bob-Waksberg and Netflix's groundbreaking cartoon about a talking horse unique was the way it tackled drama. Where "Rick and Morty" would go on to influence a decade of irreverent comedy, nihilism and parody in animation, "BoJack Horseman" was a mature, nuanced dramedy that featured complex characters and difficult subject matter. On top of all that, it was a biting satire of the entertainment industry driven by an antihero protagonist as compelling as Walter White or Tony Soprano.

Thanks to its success, "BoJack Horseman" also wound up paving the way for more dramatic American adult animated shows -- a format that had previously been synonymous with "The Simpsons" and similar sitcoms for decades.

Doctor Who's Poppy Twist & Daughter Theories Explained
Image
Doctor Who's Season 2 finale, "The Reality War," gave fans some confusing twists surrounding Poppy, who may be the Doctor's daughter. Poppy first appeared in the Season 1 premiere, "Space Babies," as the captain of an intelligent baby farm, played by Sienna-Robyn Mavanga-Phipps. That episode was one of the first for Ncuti Gatwa's 15th Doctor and Millie Gibson's Ruby Sunday, with many crazy sci-fi antics having gone by since then. More recently, the Doctor has been traveling with Varada Sethu's Belinda Chandra, now finding themselves in conflict with another Time Lord, the Rani, who has conjured up a reality of her own.

How Was Doctor Who's Poppy Actually Created?

When the Rani got her hands on the Pantheon's God of Wishes, the baby Desiderium, she left them under the control of Conrad Clarke. The conspiracy-driven extremist used the genie baby to create Wish World in his...

Doctor Who's Surprise Time Lord Is A Deep Cut Easter Egg That Hardcore Fans May Remember
Image
This article contains spoilers for "Doctor Who" season 2, episode 7, "The Wish World."

The penultimate episode of "Doctor Who" season 2 is here, and it makes a spirited attempt to shatter all the records in the coveted "most Time Lords in an episode not set on Gallifrey" category. Apart from two different versions of a classic Time Lady antagonist, the Rani (Archie Panjabi) and Mrs. Flood (Anita Dobson), there's the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) himself ... and arguably his mysterious granddaughter Susan Foreman (Carole Ann Ford), depending on which version of her numerous backstories the viewer chooses to believe. Oh, and if that list wasn't enough, the episode also wheels out a truly deep Gallifrey cut: Omega.

Originally played by Stephen Thorne, this particular Time Lord is most notorious for his role as the villain of the first multi-Doctor story arc ever: the 1972-1973 serial "The Three Doctors," which combined the might of the...

7 Shows Like ‘Love, Death + Robots’ to Watch After Season 4
Image
Another season of “Love, Death + Robots” has come and gone, and the hunt for more fun and interesting sci-fi stories begins again.

Both the fun and beauty of a series like “Love, Death + Robots” is that each season is so easily digestible, but that often means the show is over in a sitting or two. Luckily, there are plenty of other anthology series that have cropped up trying to emulate the Netflix original, or doing something similar in a live-action setting.

Here are seven shows to check out and binge once you finish the latest season of “Love, Death + Robots.”

“Secret Level” (Credit: Prime Video) Secret Level

Prime Video definitely looked at “Love, Death + Robots” and wanted their own version, but with a bit more corporate synergy. So, instead of wholly original stories, what they did with “Secret Level” was create animated anthology episodes set in...

'The Third Is Lying in Wait': Doctor Who Showrunner Teases Another Major Villain in Season Finale
Image
Doctor Whofans have had a truly wild time of it recently. In the most recent episode, "The Interstellar Song Contest" not one but two incredible things happened. First, Susan (Carole Ann Ford) returned - and then the Rani did.

Mrs. Flood (Anita Dobson) revealed her true identity in the episode and then bigenerated, so there are now two of her. One is Mrs. Flood, and one is a new version of the character played by Archie Panjabi. Having the Rani back on the show was huge, as fans had been campaigning for her for a very long time. And in the next episode, "Wish World," she's set to team up with Conrad Clark (Jonah Hauer-King), a thoroughly unpleasant man who betrayed Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) and made Unit the subject of conspiracy theorists. But the Rani and Conrad are set to be joined by another villain!

7 Must-Watch Sci-Fi Shows on Netflix Right Now
Image
As the Netflix library balloons, it can be hard to figure out just where to start when you want something in a specific genre.

The streamer has a large collection of top-tier sci-fi shows on offer for fans of the genre, so where do you begin? Do you go with some strong international offerings made exclusively for Netflix? Do you start with all-time classics of the genre? It can all be a bit daunting.

Luckily, we’ve pared it down to seven great options to check out if you’re yearning for a new sci-fi show to sink your teeth into.

“Dark” (Credit: Netflix) Dark

“Dark” remains to this day the best original offering Netflix has ever released. It is often pitched as a German “Stranger Things,” but that is a wildly reductive way to describe one of the all-time great time travel stories. The three-season show explores a town through three time periods,...

Blood of Zeus’ Incredible Animation Is Trying to Cover Up Its Most Evident Flaw
Image
Blood of Zeus is Netflix’s animated show that has impressed many fans with its incredible setting, life-like animation, and deep themes. But when it comes down to it, it becomes clear that all the flashy animations and the incredible characters cannot hide something lacking in the show.

The show has tried to focus on a retelling of the Greek myths, meaning that the entire Olympian Pantheon, including their lore, is open for exploration. While this might sound grand and intriguing, it is extremely hard to give proper focus to such a rich and well-known mythology.

This meant that even though the lore was being introduced, like the conflicts in the Pantheon, Zeus’s philandering ways, Hera’s anger, even the Gigantomachy, the narrative that takes the center focus doesn’t always fit in with it. There is a lack of consistency and uneven pacing, making it difficult for the...

‘Band of Brothers’ Cast: What Are They Doing in 2025?
Image
There are a few shows or movies that set a standard and a template for a whole genre. HBO’s 2001 miniseries Band of Brothers not only did that for war dramas but also launched and boosted many acting careers. The series, created by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, presented real-life events of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division throughout World War II.

The ensemble cast of Band of Brothers is one of the main reasons people still remember the show. Apart from playing the roles of soldiers, actors like Scott Grimes as Donald Malarkey, Kirk Acevedo as Joe Toye, and Damian Lewis as Richard Winters made the audience empathize with their losses and wins and connect with their camaraderie. Now, after more than two decades since its premiere, let’s catch up with some of these talented cast members and see what they are up to.

“The Most Secretive Episode of the Season”: A ‘Slow Horses’ Star Teases ‘Doctor Who’s Latest Episode
Image
Doctor Who Season 2 is now in full swing, with the opening two episodes, "The Robot Revolution" and "Lux," seeing Russell T. Davies' second full season in his new era in charge off to a great start. Sadly, just six episodes already remain in a reduced episode count of eight installments compared to the handful more fans had come to expect before this new Disney+ era. Much like 2024's Season 1, the opening two episodes of Season 2 have been full of color, bombast, and even an introduction to a new member of the Pantheon, only for the upcoming third, "The Well," much like last year's "Boom," to promise a more brooding, breathless story.

This is something teased by one of the episode's guest stars, Christopher Chung, who is set to appear alongside fellow guest star Rose Ayling-Ellis, as well as Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor and his new companion Belinda (Varada Sethu...

The Best Adult Swim Show Is The Anti-Last Of Us
Image
"The Last of Us" is a gripping drama. It's also a video game adaptation that does something unique with its zombie apocalypse, trading in the walking dead for very much alive people infected by a fungus that takes over their brains and bodies. The infected are a source of infinite horror on the series, with new types providing more and more nightmare fuel. But even when there are no infected to be found, "The Last of Us" is a horror story in which danger lurks around every corner (with plenty of emotional devastation soon to follow after). It's a bleak and, at times, frankly nihilistic show about how terrifying fungi can be, with characters that are mostly miserable and only able to find small glimmers of hope at the end of the world.

All this is to say, when Adult Swim announced Steve Hely and Joseph Bennett -- the co-creator of "Scavengers Reign,...

Brian Dennehy's Best Film Is Finally Available Again
Image
On the big screen, the late American actor Brian Dennehy was known primarily for his supporting roles in crime thrillers, Westerns, and action flicks, frequently playing intimidating and often corrupt law enforcement officers and politicians in films like First Blood (1982) and Silverado (1985), while also sometimes playing kind-hearted father figures in more family-friendly films like Tommy Boy (1995) and Ratatouille (2007). But, in a 2007 interview with CBS, Dennehy revealed that he personally considered his best performance to be a leading role in a relatively unknown art film from 1987: The Belly of an Architect, directed by British filmmaker Peter Greenaway. A perhaps apocryphal quote has Dennehy saying, "I've been in a lot of movies, but this is the first film I've made."

The film, which was recently given its first Blu-ray release in the U.S., shows a more vulnerable side of Dennehy that has more in common with his on-stage portrayal of...

Happy Friday! Welcome to another rundown of what’s new on Netflix over the past seven days. It’s been a relatively quiet week for new arrivals, but there were definitely a few hidden gems. Plus, Netflix cleared the Original deck for its highly anticipated Robert De Niro limited series, Zero Day. Here’s a look back at everything new and what’s been trending in the Netflix Top 10 this past week.

We should also discuss a couple of re-additions and very quick removals on Netflix this week. Interestingly, Trump: An American Dream was abruptly removed from the service yesterday globally, and after only a day, it’s back, albeit without Netflix Original branding. I have no idea what happened here. It wasn’t scheduled to be removed and from first glance, nothing has changed with it – bizarre. Also, One Piece fans can rest easy; the two specials...

“The sheer Size… in insane”: The Best Black Ops 6 Mission Outdid 22 Years of Call of Duty
Image
Call of Duty is arguably one of the biggest franchises in the gaming world. Since 2003, this franchise has given us some gaming gems which were some absolute treats for first-person shooter lovers. The legacy is well and truly being carried forward by the latest entry in the franchise, Black Ops 6.

Despite some initial stumbles, BO6 came out to be the biggest-ever launch any CoD title has ever seen. The game was heavily criticized for its launch maps, new movement mechanics, over-infestation by hackers, and many more issues. However, there’s no doubt that the game features one of the best campaign missions in the entire franchise, and the Emergence mission is just a glimpse of that.

After Sutekh Last Season, Doctor Who Season 15 Appears To Be Setting Up A Main Villain From The Fifth Doctor's Era
Image
Doctor Who’s fifteenth season is steadily approaching, and while certain aspects of the story remain shrouded in mystery, the show has been dropping some interesting hints about the direction it’s heading. A surprise trailer was dropped after Doctor Who’s Christmas special that offered a first glance at the upcoming episodes, and fans have already begun to theorize about what these clips could mean. After the huge surprises of last season, from Sutekh’s return to the truth about Ruby Sunday’s mother, there’s bound to be some huge shocks in the upcoming season too.

Doctor Who is famously very secretive when it comes to new episodes, and this new trailer is no different. Other than a few glimpses of familiar worlds and new creatures, the trailer didn’t reveal much about the plot of Doctor Who season 15 - but there’s enough to spark some curiosity.

‘Pantheon’ Netflix Ending Explained & Season 1 Recap: Is David Dead?

Your heads must be spinning after binge-watching Pantheon, AMC’s cyberpunk adult animated series that got dropped on Netflix. With an extremely relevant theme at the center of it, Pantheon is mostly great from start to finish, which could only happen thanks to a hugely talented voice cast that has names like Paul Dano and Aaron Eckhart. You are, of course, reading the article to understand what really happened in the ending (and the whole thing) better, and I am hoping to help you out. So, to simplify, I am going to lay down the story according to the chronology instead of the narrative the show followed. Quite naturally, there will be spoilers, so if you haven’t watched Pantheon yet, this is your warning.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is now finally released. As the Modern Warfare trilogy is done and dusted, it was now time for Treyarch to pick Cod up from where it was left off in Black Ops Cold War. Just like any title of this long-hailed franchise, the storyline is the main Usp of this game.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Ending Explained (In Detail)
Image
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is here with one of the more substantial single player campaign offerings the series has seen in recent years. This year's campaign mode has already been heralded as a return to form for the franchise after a disappointing single player experience in last year's Modern Warfare III. The Black Ops subseries has been known as being particularly story and character-driven within the wider Call of Duty franchise, with an emphasis on more cloak-and-dagger plotlines and historically-based political intrigue.

Warning: This article contains major spoilers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Although Black Ops has strayed away from '70s and '80s era in the past, this year's campaign takes place in 1991 during the Gulf War, about a decade after the events of 2020's Black Ops: Cold War. There are some familiar faces from the series returning, namely CIA agents Frank Woods and Russell Adler.

Prime Videos adaptation of God of War was one of the most anticipated projects from the streamer, as it would be the first time the video game franchise was adapted into live-action. However, despite it being in development for two years, it seems that the reset button has been hit, as main producers Rafe Judkins, Hawk Ostby, and Mark Fergus have departed the enterprise.

Per Deadline, Sony and Amazon MGM Studios, who are jointly running the venture, are staging a do-over of the God of War television series. Reportedly, Judkins who has been helming another Prime Video series, Wheel of Time along with Ostby and Fergus had already produced multiple scripts for the first season, and despite Amazon MGM and Sonys praise, it seems the studios want to take the show in a different creative direction. Silver lining: the studios plan to hire a brand new writers room does indicate,...

8 Times Doctor Who Hid Sutekh's Return In Plain Sight
Image
Sutekh's return in Doctor Who season 14 after not appearing in the show for almost half a century came as a huge surprise, but the long-running British sci-fi quietly included several hints to foreshadow the classic villain's resurgence. Sutekh was revealed to be The One Who Waits in Doctor Who season 14's penultimate episode, "The Legend of Ruby Sunday." The antagonist's debut in Doctor Who's Disney era was his first episode since the 1975 story, "Pyramids of Mars," starring Tom Baker's Fourth Doctor. The signs of Sutekh's comeback were subtle, but they were certainly there.

With Doctor Who season 14 serving as a stealth sequel to "Pyramids of Mars" all along, the clues to the true identity of the first big bad of Ncuti Gatwa's era are much easier to spot in retrospect. The Pantheon leader's evil plan to wipe out all life in the universe was retroactively established as...

BoJack Horseman Horseman Creator Returning To Netflix – After Calling The Streamer Out For Its Biggest Controversy
Image
It's been 10 years since a comedy about a former sitcom actor and anthropomorphic horse first graced our screens, with "BoJack Horseman" introducing Netflix as a serious producer of animation. Now, creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg and much of the "BoJack" team are coming for with a new Netflix animated series titled "Long Story Short."

According to Netflix, the show is about "a family over time," including their inside jokes and old wounds, as well as the history they share with one another (as we all do with our own families). Although "BoJack Horseman" is remembered for being a biting satire about Hollywood (or Hollywoo) with plenty of hilarious takes on celebrities (like its jokes about Andrew Garfield and lasagna), it was also a fantastic drama about generational trauma and how messed up families can be.

What makes this news kind of surprising is the fact that Bob-Waksberg has been openly critical of...

“I don’t care if they drop runes”: Elden Ring Players Lament 1 Mechanic Not Being Included in Shadow of the Erdtree that Fans Have Been Asking Over 2 Years For
Image
Elden Ring’s rich world can often fool players into believing that they have the freedom to replay some of their best memories. They can, of course, but not without the process of diving into New Game Plus. Or, simply starting all over again.

FromSoftware has tested certain mechanics before that allow players to replay boss fights, and games like Hollow Knight do it too. But this has been missing from Elden Ring, and players would love to have this mechanic in the game.

Elden Ring Players Want to Re-Experience Boss Fights

The arrival of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree greatly expanded the base game’s mechanics. New boss fights, unique weapon additions, and fresh gameplay mechanics. The list can go on! However, there’s one key ingredient missing from this experience that could have otherwise made it twice as enjoyable.

Doctor Who's 1980s Villain Retcons Mean 1 Classic Companion Must Return In Season 15
Image
Doctor Who season 14 introduced the Pantheon - a group of immortal entities - and confirmed the Mara as its God of Beasts. Tegan could still be carrying the Mara inside her mind, as suggested by "The Passenger." Doctor Who season 15 can explore Tegan's possession by a Pantheon God and how that impacts her job with Unit.

The return of a classic Doctor Who companion has become necessary after season 14's big Pantheon retcon. From Sutekh piggybacking on the Tardis to the reintroduction of Richard E. Grant's Shalka Doctor, there was no shortage of canon rewrites in Doctor Who season 14. While Sutekh's 49-year reign as hide-and-seek champion was undoubtedly the biggest retcon, the most significant change for future storylines proved to be the formation of Doctor Who's Pantheon - an order of immortal, near-omnipotent godlike entities presiding over time and space.

Sutekh sits atop the Pantheon as its God of Death,...

10 Former Doctor Who Villains Who Could Now Be Pantheon Gods
Image
The Pantheon is a group of powerful, immortal beings that have been mentioned throughout the history of Doctor Who. Some of these beings possess the ability to possess humans, while others have the power to control dreams, manipulate time, and create chaos. Here are some of the potential candidates for the Pantheon that could be retconned into the show: The Gods of the Rutans: The Rutans are known for their ability to possess humans, which is a trait shared by many of the Pantheon gods. Additionally, the Queen Ruta could be a Pantheon god who has the ability to replicate herself, which would explain the Rutans' lack of individuality without contradicting their status as gods. The Dream Lord: The Dream Lord is an apparition that can control dreams and likes to create nightmares. Although it was initially said to be a manifestation of the Doctor's dark side, it could be retconned to be telepathic,...

10 Marvel Roles Perfect For Dwayne Johnson After His Disney Deal
Image
Despite his success in other franchises, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has never appeared in an MCU film. Johnson's experience with godlike characters could make him a natural fit for roles like Hercules or Ares. Characters like Hyperion or The Juggernaut could provide Johnson with the perfect opportunity to enter the MCU.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson might be one of the most recognizable Hollywood superstars of the modern age, but has somehow avoided contact with the industry-defining success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. No stranger to leading tentpole franchises, the former pro wrestler is known for his iconic roles in blockbusters like the Fast and Furious movies, Disney's Moana, and action comedies like Jumanji: The Next Level. But despite it all, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has never managed to be cast in an MCU film.

That's not to say the musclebound movie star has no experience with superhero movies, helming the disastrously-fated Dceu film Black Adam.

Does a Classic-Era Doctor Who Costume Reveal Mrs Flood’s True Identity?
Image
Warning: contains spoilers for Doctor Who “Empire of Death”.

Along with ‘why was Ruby’s gymslip mum wearing a hooded cloak in 2004 Manchester?’ and ‘did the Doctor skip Skaro and Telos on his death-to-death planet-restoring tour?’ another mystery was left unanswered by Doctor Who’s series 14 finale: the true identity of Mrs Flood.

Fans (and outlets) have swapped theories ever since Anita Dobson’s character first appeared in 2023 Christmas special “The Church on Ruby Road” and stared down the camera lens to ask, “Never seen a Tardis before?” Then, right at the end of “Empire of Death”, the Sundays’ neighbour Mrs Flood returns for another fourth-wall-breaking cliffhanger.

On the Notting Hill rooftop above the Sundays’ flat after Ruby and the Doctor have said goodbye, Mrs F appears Mary Poppins-style, carrying a brolly. Using the clipped Rp accent she first unveiled in “The Legend of Ruby Sunday”, she looks into...

Doctor Who Season 14 Ending Explained
Image
Warning: spoilers ahead for Doctor Who season 14, episode 8, "Empire of Death."

Doctor Who's Fifteenth Doctor defeats Sutekh with a molecular rope, bringing back all life. Mrs. Flood's true identity remains a mystery, but she will likely be a major figure in Doctor Who season 15. Ruby Sunday's departure from the Tardis is motivated by finally finding her biological parents, ending her time-traveling days with the Doctor.

Doctor Who season 14's ending chronicles a battle for the ages between Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor and Sutekh, and leaves plenty to discuss as the deadly dust settles. Following the stunning twist that Sutekh had been hiding inside the Doctor's Tardis ever since the 1975 Tom Baker episode "Pyramids of Mars," Doctor Who season 14's finale begins with Sutekh executing his plan to extinguish all life in the universe. The leader of Doctor Who's Pantheon stands victorious, but the Doctor and Ruby Sunday...

Doctor Who season 14's big bad and his villainous affiliation was set up by a forgotten Rtd character who was last seen 15 years ago. All 10 Confirmed Gods In Doctor Who's Pantheon Explained
Image
The Pantheon on Doctor Who are powerful, nearly unbeatable gods who enjoy wreaking havoc for fun. Sutekh, the God of Death, is back and causing chaos, even tricking the Doctor with a cruel deception. Other Pantheon members like the Celestial Toymaker and Maestro have also posed threats to the Doctor and companions.

The penultimate episode of Doctor Who season 14 not only revealed that Sutekh was back, but that there are several other gods associated with the Pantheon. The Pantheon has been explained on Doctor Who as a race of omnipotent, godlike creatures who leave a trail of destruction in their path. They are nearly impossible to defeat, especially those at the top of the chain, and enjoy wreaking havoc for their own sake. The revelation that there are many monsters associated with the Pantheon suggests that many of the best Doctor Who stories may have involved these villains, even if...

Doctor Who Retcon Makes A Fifth Doctor Villain Way Better After 42 Years
Image
Doctor Who season 14's retcon of a Peter Davison-era monster enhances a 42-year-old story with a new twist on powerful enemies. The Mara, originally a pure evil snake, is now a member of the Pantheon of godlike beings, explained by Sutekh in season 14. Linking the Mara to the Pantheon offers a deeper layer to its character and allows for potential future appearances in the series.

Doctor Who season 14's retcon of a Peter Davison-era monster vastly improved a 42-year-old story. Every actor who played Doctor Who has faced off against various powerful creatures who want to destroy the universe, many of whom have a hatred for Earth and human beings. The classic series featured both recurring villains such as the Daleks and monsters that appeared once or twice before being vanquished, seemingly forever. Some of the one-off stories are among the best Doctor Who episodes of all time, though...

Rtd's Tease For Meep's Boss In Doctor Who Is Both Exciting & Worrying
Image
The Meep's boss is a looming threat in the Doctor Who universe, waiting to make an appearance in the future. Davies confirms the connection between The One Who Waits and the Meep's boss, adding more mysteries to unravel. Doctor Who's season 14 is filled with slow-burning storylines, leaving fans eager for more revelations.

The Doctor Who showrunner has teased some information about an implied villain first mentioned by the Meep in "The Star Beast," but the hint brings with it concern as well as anticipation. The Meep, the episode's main villain, ends "The Star Beast" imprisoned, but doesn't fail to warn David Tennant's Fourteenth Doctor of the coming threat. Ever since, the presence of the Meep's boss has been largely swept aside, but Russell T Davies' comments suggest the enigmatic figure is still looming large over events in the Doctor Who universe.

Doctor Who's Wild Susan Twist Cameo Streak Just Got Way More Exciting
Image
Warning: Spoilers ahead for Doctor Who season 14, episode 3, "Boom."

Susan Twist's recurring appearances in Doctor Who suggest a deeper connection beyond coincidence, hinting at a hidden storyline. The enigmatic Villengard ambulance AI, played by Twist, offers a pivotal role in "Boom." As Twist's characters become increasingly noticeable, a mysterious trend emerges, possibly tied to temporal forces or the Pantheon.

Doctor Who season 14, episode 3, "Boom," includes another guest appearance from an actress who has already played a handful of seemingly unrelated roles in the show's Disney era. While Doctor Who has yet to confirm or deny whether Susan Twist's characters are all connected, it seems unlikely that her ongoing return is the result of mere coincidence. However, Twist's role is impossible to ignore in "Boom," whereas in her previous cameos, she's been much easier to miss.

Susan Twist has secretly been a key member of the Doctor Who season 14 cast,...

Cillian Murphy returns for 28 Years Later in “a surprising way”

28 Days Later director Danny Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland are finally reuniting to make a sequel to their zombie movie classic. As we reporter earlier this year, this sequel is set up at Sony, is going to be called 28 Years Later – and it may even launch a whole trilogy of 28 Days Later sequels. Last year, 28 Days Later star Cillian Murphy said he’d gladly be in a sequel if it was made by Boyle and Garland, and when this project was announced, it was confirmed that Murphy is on board as an executive producer… but as months have gone by and Boyle has assembled the cast, it’s remained unclear whether or not Murphy will actually appear in the movie.
