Mads Mikkelsen in Riders of Justice (2020)

Trivia

Riders of Justice

Edit
Mikkelsen's beard only took two months for him to grow. He had a tougher time packing on muscle for the role, only managing to add 14 pounds maximum to his normally lean 6-foot frame.
Riders of Justice is now the 5th straight feature collaboration between director Anders Thomas Jensen and actors Mads Mikkelsen and Nikolaj Lie Kaas. The others being Flickering Lights, The Green Butchers, Adams Apples and Men & Chicken.
Markus, an elite soldier, is holding a seized rifle in a seemingly awkward and amateurish way, but this is because the rifle lacks iron sights, and instead he has to align the entire length of the top rail with both his eyes to achieve a true sight picture.
All the main Danish characters are played by Danish actors whereas the Ukrainian character is played by a Swedish actor, namely Gustav Lindh.
Not the first time that Nikolai Lie Kaas is playing a character called Otto. He played Otto Hvidmann in "The boys from St. Petri" (1991) which was also Lie Kaas' first big screen appearance.
