Extraordinary performance by SatyaDev. Roopa is good. She makes her presence with her acting skills. Suhas generated few laughs The developments in second half are too good. The link b/w Techniques amd emotions 👌. Folding Swathi book, limca bottle and many more surprises. Emotions are too good. Songs are okay. We need to hear again to catch the life in it. Cinematography is just Ok but Locations are cool. Watch it !

Satyadev nailed with his performance. Story was nice. Actors did a great job. Suhas and naresh garu performed well. The girl who played jyothi character was expressive and her dance💥. Movie has a slow pace. But if u involve in this movie. It has the most emotional touch. Kudos to director venky Maha.

Though it's a remake movie from malayalam,everyone had done their best in potraying their respectable characters. Most of the scenes in this movie will bring u smile on ur face and some laughter moments as well. Satya Dev allow me to say this! u have nailed it man!! Try maintaining ur own style when coming to acting. U got that potential. Try to do movies in other languages as well rather jus sticking to telugu. U will have productive career. Maha ur narration is so close to reality. The way u project the characters it's jus like reading a feel gud novel sitting at the backyard of the house having hot tea on a rainy day in Araku. Kudos team!!!

Best film in his career.well made remake.Slightly slow paced by narration but an engaging rural drama

I watched this movie today. This movie was different from Maheshinte Prathikaram, Maha deleted the Kerala elements and added elements for the Telugu culture. Mahesh in this movie is more calm than the Mahesh from Kerala, and Satyadev portrayed it really well. Just forgetting the original movie and watching this one as a new movie will help you guys enjoy the movie. I liked it, nice to see this movie from a different perspective🙌🙌

The only things which I didn't like about this movie was that the flow was missing idk why and the scenes were going really slow. Especially the American call and all. Editing and music wasn't great in this movie (Bijibal was trying something else ig), otherwise it could've been even better one.

Need these kind of movies. Felt like I watched a feel good film after a long time. This and c/of kancharapalem will be referred as classics by future audience.

Satyadev is LOVE in this movie. He just nailed his performance. I was curious to see who would be able to outdo Fahaad in the original but OMG, Satyadev has achieved it. Cant say much about the movie and the direction itself as it is a remake of a Malayalam classic and I know Venkatesh Maha is much more capable to write his own original script. I hope he makes one the next time. But Satyadev should be celebrated by the film industry and I hope he keeps coming back with such performances.

A Decent Revenge tale. Not much great and not so bad. I can say that it is a good flick from Venkatesh maha. He get succeeded with taking up the film with Araku nativity.

Coming to the plot line, Mahesh, a studio photographer and studio owner gets into a fight and loses. He ends up taking revenge which leads to certain realizations in his life.

Performance wise we should definitely admire the performance of Satya Dev. The supporting cast like Suhas, Naresh and TNR done a good performance. Especially, Debutant Roopa Koduvayur as Jyothi was pretty good with her mesmerizing performance.

Undoubtely it is a good movie but keep your expectations low...it is slow,simple and sweet.don't expect too much if you want to enjoy more

Plot:-After getting beaten up and insulted by the town bully, a softhearted simpleton Mahesh vows to be barefoot until he gets his revenge.

Story and screenplay:-a beautiful story and No this is not a action filled revenge movie this is a story about character,each characters are important in this movie it's a story about life,love,family,dignity and respect!! Screenplay is too good not a single boring moment..screenplay writer know his job very well

music:-perfectly blended as per story and screenplay!!

Cinemateography:-This is one of the big plus point of this movie in such low budget how beautifully they framed such scene,village location,very real which connects with story..

performance:-the lead actor sathyadev is very good in his role not loud or overact perfect as per his role speciallyy in climax too good,the actress is also given very natural act too good,the 2 actor who played hero's frd and well wisher were very good each and every actor has done full justice in their role!!

Direction:-Direction by venkatesh is perfect,this type of direction we need,heart and soul at right place,using his resources properly with low or medium budget and giving such beautiful movie is a proof of matured and perfect direction..

If you are still deciding whether or not to watch this, Stop now! Watch it, and you will want to watch this again and again. As mentioned in the title I gave up on telugu movies as a whole, except for the rare gems like Manam, I really cannot tolerate watching our movies for their whole runtime, exceptions being when I have inherent bias towards the Actors that act in them. But this movie, man this was some movie, no big casting, no grandiose, just a story told the way it was supposed to, or simply put how movies were supposed to be, put things that the story needs not what the actor or director wants, just put the right people who will deliver, I cannot praise Satyadev enough, this man poured every ounce of performance that was needed, except for some side characters who were not upto the standard with this masterpiece, every other actor proved that we don't have inadequate talent.

I could really go on and on about this, like how I have been telling about this movie to everyone around me, to end this I really wish I got more of the characters, or maybe I just want to see Satyadev and the rest of the amazing cast for another 2 solid hours.

The Director took at most care to keep the film as natural as possible from every aspect of the film be it characterization, appearance, language...etc.

Casting made it more natural. Fresh faces on screen make us not to have any prejudice whatsoever. The Naturalism in the movie is firmly supported by all the artists especially the lead artists Satya Dev & Roopa.

Though the film has slow pace everything else on screen makes us to forget about it.

Well I enjoy the movie ,nothing like Newton fourth law fight scene which is common in Telegu movies. And I hardly watch Telegu movies but this is the first time I have noticed that all the actress are South Indian ...I mean the real people.Unlike maximum Telegu film industries import fair good looking actress and that suckss big time!!! Go for it folks .

Satyadev's performance is great. Selecting natural looking south indian actresses for the movie is the best part. Locations and background music makes u feel like u are in Araku while u r watching this movie. Best movie in recent times

Again a good film from Maha venkatesh.SatyaDev performance as mahesh is excellent, he just nailed it.He is a gift for tollywood,want to see him in great roles in coming years. Toolywood should make these kind of movies. Supporting actors suhas,naresh,roopa really did well.One of the best part in the movie is butterfly effect.Some dialogues from manohar roa are touching. Overall a good story,good direction,wonderful acting,superb movie. Definitely worth watching.Just watch it.

Movie was one of best I've seen in the most recent times in TFI. I ask everyone to watch it once and it's sure gonna be worth your time. It's made in a typical village style and it can touch every audience that watch the film

UMUR is the remake of beloved Malayalam movie "Maheshinte Prathikaram"(Mahesh's Revenge). They actually kept the soul of the movie. That's what I liked about this. Thanks to the makers for not messing up. Only thing is that they changed some dialogues which were pretty important in the original. The original has some incredible dialogues which were stretched out in the remake. The best thing about this movie is the performance by the protagonist. I'm sad he isn't as famous as the rest of Tollywood actors. Satyadev is a better actor than any other Tollywood superstars. We can actually see relevant expressions in his face unlike the rest of superstars.
