La belle au bois dormant éveillée (2009)

Trivia

La belle au bois dormant éveillée

Edit
The film does not mention who sent the fake memo around the studio that announced the renaming of all of Disney's animated films. It was animator Ed Gombert.
Dedicated to the memory of Howard Ashman, Joe Ranft, Frank Wells, and Roy Edward Disney. When the film first premiered Disney was still alive; however, after his death in December of 2009 director Don Hahn decided that the "forever version of the movie" should also include Disney and so the change was made prior to the DVD release.
It is mentioned in the film that Frank Wells called the Disney studio at 3am to find out what Goofy's original name was (Dippy Dawg).
Don Hahn wanted to avoid making what he called a "talking heads documentary" where people sit in front of the camera and talk. This is why none of the interviewees appear onscreen.
A majority of the caricatures shown throughout the film were done during production of their respective films. However, the caricatures of Howard Ashman getting defensive about the original prologue of La Belle et la Bête (1991) and literally breathing fire were created just for this documentary.
