Good for low $$$ budget.

Actually quite good and direct for what it was, a low-budget production. It had a nice little story plot about it and a few nicely assembled scenes that probably did not take too many takes to get right. You just knew after the first altercation that it was not over, and that kind of kept you on your toes for when round two came about. There was definitely a nice vibe about it that goes without saying, Sure, could it have gone a bit longer than it did, yes, but that's not so much a complaint but an observation, as there's nothing wrong with short films. I guess one could say that those involved didn't overplay their hand but played to their strength and told the story they wanted to tell the audience with the budget they had available, which was smart.

Fact is, for a low-budget production, this was actually rather enjoyable.

Budget production

For a low-made crime short shot mostly in rural woodlands, and with a small roster, Tribulatio easily offered up something not unappealing for budget production filming. Whilst it may only feature that of a small roster of four-three women and one gentleman-Tribulatio illuminated a short but compelling story of two fractions-of greed, of loyalty, and, of course, of inevitable betrayal. We saw an amicable eagerness to perform, for which four chosen artists bought to life a vision and told it in a manner for which they spoke and for which an attendee could relate. We saw a director's ability to lead and to direct those who follows. We saw a budget production, both able and vigilant, put out something amicable for the attendee, despite any pit floors it may have crossed. Not an easy task. Most importantly, we got to see someone get their comeuppance for the art of betrayal.

Watched this in class today and thought it was ok.

When our teacher suggested watching some films for our next project, I was excited. I mean, who won't be right? I didn't think he meant indy but like Dracula or the Wolfman or something old English, but I was pleasantly surprised. Out of the four or five he showed the class, this was the only one I could find on IMDb. It actually surprised me, as I was expecting a bit of a bigger budget for it's worth. The actors were very good, and Holly particularly stood out, and it was not only because she is attractive. She understood her role and her mark, and when she took the bag of money at the end, I thought to myself, Who won't have done that? She is one smart woman. I liked the fact it was a 3*1 girl-to-guy ratio as well. The directing brothers did a good job here. I don't know how much experience they had before this, but they did a good job leading the line and directing their actors. The script was good. The acting was good. The setting of the location and lighting were good. This was a well-done piece. Next time it is suggested we watch something for inspiration, I hope I will be equally as pleased. I'm going to give it a 7. Well done!
