Squid Game received backlash for casting a transgender woman character with a cisgender male actor. He recently stoked that controversy by sharing a pornographic photo in a social media post.

Actor Park Sung-hoon is in hot water for sharing an Nsfw photo on Instagram. The image, an explicit parody poster of Park's Squid Game character Cho Hyun-ju, was unwittingly posted as an Instagram Story last Dec. 30; Park immediately deleted that, but followers already took screenshots. Park clarified that he shared the photo by mistake and he had no ill will about the post. "I found a problematic photo in my [direct messages] as I was rushing to go out around lunchtime to go to my schedule," he explained (per Koreaboo). "While exchanging the show's reactions with the organizer, I think I accidentally posted it to my story while sending it."

Squid Game, the wildly popular Netflix series, achieved overwhelming success with its first season and earned praise for its unique concept, trippy aesthetic, and gritty social commentary. On June 14, Song Joong Ki took to his fancafe to confirm that he and his wife Katy Louise Saunders were blessed with a healthy son in Rome. He also reassured the fans that the wife and son are completely healthy.

Synopsis
