A poor script, very poor acting and a very painful watch!!!

Please do not make the same mistake as I did by watching this film.

It has an extremely poor story line, the "good vs evil" plot with little to no depth. What annoyed me most was the camera work and directing. For the most part of the film everything is up close, it is as if the camera men (or women) have all zoomed in and forgot about it. At times it feels like a home made movie, wait is this a home made movie..... can someone please confirm and get back to me.

The script - a 10 year old could do better, I am not exaggerating. At times I found myself cringing.

It's a good thing I watched no more than 15 minutes!!!

Expected cheese and I got it... and I kinda liked it

OK, yes, it's not Hollywood; good fight scenes (some of them). Visual effects? Like some of the quick explosion cuts, cartoony. Story choppy but music made up for it.

Acting: no academy awards here, but it gets through the story. Some of the guys are hot.

Camera work: I'm a fan of Lost so I like close ups and camera movement, no complaints here.

Editing: it was weird at times, fine most of the time.

The movie looked out of focus or pixelated sometimes.

Ending: Mozart? Choral? Why? OK, fine. i get it: Epiphany.

Summary: if you are obsessed with 70's campy Kung Fu movies, check it out. if you into Steel Magnolias and Titanic, pass it up.

It was OK. not as bad as some reviewers make you think.

Result: Kung Fu comes to LA, but where are the superstars?

Question: What do you get when you want to make an action film with no movie stars? You get a jumble titled "The Fists of Righteous Harmony" (seriously, why such a long, difficult name?), which will please its core audience but won't really amuse people not into martial arts, action or guns. There are lots of us out there that adore martial arts movies with plenty of well choreographed mayhem and "The Fists" seem to be a good choice for indie pleasures but the script and some of the acting kept me wondering at times.

The flashbacks are probably my favorite parts, and the grittiness of the scene at the motel.

The performers meet the demands of their roles, which are not exactly difficult. Throughout the movie, nothing unfolds predictably - but then again, I wasn't sure what to expect -. The fight scenes are fun, but the confusion factor and the apparent lack of experience are deadlier than any of the Fists lethal blows... that and the fact that the psychic should've fought in the end.

Warning: There are lots of bad words in this film, so parents beware; but few people go to martial arts movies to enjoy the beautiful language, and as an action lavishness, the film delivers. Cinematography is great at times with beautiful colors and nice contrasts... and at times it fails to deliver...

Will you enjoy it? Yes, if you watch it with an open mind.

    Amazing

Ed Hanlon as Kidnap Victim stole the show. He exudes the quiet strength so often wanting in today's leading men. 5 thumbs up. While the movie was sometimes a little slow, and character development a bit weak, Hanlon's performance transcends the genre and offers a unique look into the mind of a Kidnap Victim.

While, I confess, his startling good looks can be a distraction, his ability to connect with the audience is never in doubt. Early talk has Hanlon running away with the Oscar for best supporting actor.

Better than Tommy Lee in "No Country.." and Jake in "Brokeback" put together.

Ed Hanlon richly deserves the critical acclaim being thrown his way.

    well, well, you got me...

I ran into this film and as i always do, i read about it here. There was 11 votes and this film had a rating of 9.6/10. Well, i thought i could give it a chance...my biggest mistake this year...no, the last 10 years actually.

The crew can't act, can't talk properly, the cutting, the choreography, absolutely everything is one huge mess. I had a feeling i was watching a school project on YouTube and an awfully bad one too.

I didn't noticed one very important fact before i decided to see this...project. This is Aaron Huisenfeldt's first film ever and yet he did pretty much everything in this film (eg. Director, Writer, Actor, Cinematographer, Producer, Editor, Visual Effects, Special Effects, Sound Department and more..).

Metin Gungor has worked with visual effects in couple of my favourite films so my hope lied with him. My mistake.

Voting should be forbidden for crew members!

    0/10 if i could...
