Ten years after the release of its first chapter, the My Hero Academia manga came to an end with a spectacular final chapter, #431. The epilogue of the series, which allowed fans to see a glimpse of the protagonist’s life eight years after All For One was defeated, did a magnificent job of bringing the series to a close. Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of this beloved franchise, gave it his all to give fans a satisfying conclusion.
This monumental occasion was celebrated by the author with a moving and memorable afterword in which he addresses his readers. The letter thanks fans for the many years of support they gave him, revealing how the continuous support of the fandom helped him alleviate his anxiety.

Actor Julian Sands (Warlock) went missing while hiking on California’s Mount Baldy back in January of 2023, and sadly, his remains were found the following June. Just four months before Sands went missing, we reported on a film called The Last Breath, a shark thriller he was working on. He gave one of his final performances in this film – and soon, we’re going to have the chance to see that performance. Rlje Films will be giving The Last Breath a theatrical and VOD release on July 26th, and with that date right around the corner, a trailer has dropped online. It can be seen in the embed above.
Scripted by Nick Saltrese (Prayer Before Dawn), The Last Breath follows a group of college friends who embark on a once-in-a-lifetime dive. However, their adventure quickly turns into a nightmare as they become trapped in the darkness of a shipwreck and...

New Delhi, April 24 (Ians) The Delhi High Court on Monday pulled up the Archaeological Survey of India (Asi), saying it cannot be a “silent spectator” on the issue of encroachments in the historic Tughlaqabad Fort, and directed the agency to remove them within four weeks.
A division bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad was dealing with pleas challenging rampant encroachment in Tughlaqabad Fort and warned that it will order personal appearance of top officials like the Asi Director, McD commissioners, the sub-divisional magistrate and senior police officers if its directives are not complied with.
“This court cannot be a silent spectator (when order has been passed by the top court). The Asi is directed to take action for removal of the encroachment and Sdm concerned and McD will provide all logistical support for removal of encroachment… List after four weeks,” the bench said.

Last year, writer/director Joachim Hedén brought us the survival thriller Breaking Surface (watch it Here), about a woman struggling to save her sister, who was trapped underwater by a rockslide in the icy waters of Norway. Now Hedén is in production on another thriller about diving – but this time around, the threat to the divers are sharks. Filming in Belgium, the shark thriller may or may not end up being called The Last Breath. The Wreck has also come up as a potential title. But whatever the title happens to be, the first image from the film has been unveiled online and you can check it out at the bottom of this article.
According to Deadline, The Last Breath – I’m just going to keep calling it that for now – has been written by Nick Saltrese (Prayer Before Dawn). The story centers on

Streaming services may be offering more movies than ever, but that doesn’t necessarily mean audiences will to go to theaters less often.
Netflix, for example, is offering its subscribers plenty of reasons to stay home for their cinema viewing, from new original movies like “The Irishman” and “Marriage Story” that will soon move from limited theatrical runs to the internet, to titles including “Murder Mystery” and “Secret Obsession,” that bypass theaters and still reach tens of millions of consumers.
But exclusive data from entertainment and media research firm Screen Engine/Asi’s Global Entertainment Tech Tracker (Gett) suggests that movie theaters tend to be frequented more by those who watch a lot of films on streaming services rather than those who watch fewer or none at all on them.
U.S. consumers who watched 13 or more movies (licensed or original) on paid video streaming services in the past 12 months...

It is hard to believe this is our ninth consecutive Contenders in Los Angeles, the city where this must-stop on the awards season circuit started it all. In that time it has only grown bigger and better, expanding with the demand to Emmy season and our The Contenders Emmys event in April, as well as to Oscar season events in London and New York. It is a logistical triumph to piece it all together,...

To anyone who watched the first season of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Miami this year, Amara La Negra – bold, mahogany-skinned and Afro’d – is a newly minted icon. To Spanish-language TV viewers, she’s been a star for years: as a child, she made regular appearances on Univision’s Sábado Gigante. And now, with hits like the reggae-tinged “What a Bam Bam” soaring into the millions of views on YouTube, La Negra is relishing her biggest spotlight yet. “I’ve always known my purpose in life,” says the 27-year-old singer.
