Mathu Vadalara (2019) : Brief Review -

THE BEST and MOST number of conflicts for any thriller in WORLD CINEMA, I REPEAT WORLD CINEMA with direction skills LIKE NEVER BEFORE. When i wrote those adjectives in capital, believe me i was shouting those words. The film had such impact on me that i want to scream loudly and tell everybody to watch this film. Holy smoke! What a crazy ride it was. OMG! These reactions are coming out practically, i mean verbally while i type it. How many conflicts can one thriller movie have? How much do you expect? Four? Five? Or max six or seven, right? I mean any smart narrative can hold that much only otherwise it would become a mess. Now just imagine, you see this much conflicts by the time film reaches at interval point. What will be your reaction? I was like, what??? They have many more twists coming? I mean it's just a half show till now? And it felt like i have seen double number of twists than any other Classic thriller can provide and that too just in the first half? This thought is still giving me shocks. I can't believe it. How on earth any film can have this much twists and still save half of its bag for second half. And then in second half it reaches to next level and then the Climax, BOOM..! I was like, somebody stop them man. They are delivering twists in every 5-10 minutes. Every single actor in the film has done justice to the role. Background music, vfx, cinematography, dialogues everything is AMAZING.. Hey, Ritesh Rana, are you a human? I mean seriously how did you make something freaking amazing, unbelievable like this? What a mind-blowing direction this guy has given to the excellent writting. Comedy, humour, presentation everything is of next level for Indian Audience. This is a Must Watch material for International Audience. That daily soap spoof was so hilarious, BESTEST! Hundreds of kisses to Rana. Missing this Cult Film is a CRIME, get that?

Not even a minute was wasted. No unnecessary love tracks or songs. Right from the beginning you'll love it every moment of it. Comedy worked out really well and a very good execution. Kudos to the director and the actors. Fully enjoyed this flick. Title track and it's bgm is engaging. Don't miss this.

Wow wow only 2 cr budget for film nd it will be huge hit

An extremely intelligent, engaging and funny thriller. The first half was edge of the seat. The great thing about this movie was that the pace didn't get slackened and the suspense was maintained till the last 20 min or so. Ritesh used a simple formula.... great storyline laced with situational comedy, with a genuine mystery, to create a very engaging movie. Definitely a must watch!

Good Movie. Everybody acted well in the movie. BGM in the movie was not so good. The movie was so interesting and thrilling at 1st half. The movie was not so interesting and thrilling at 2nd half because of some boring and lagging scenes. Good Movie.

Mathu Vadarala is a Telugu comedy crime feel good movie with a plot twist. Usually all the thriller movies are tensed but this one is way different from that, you will laugh out loud while watching this movie. At the same time this movie will also satisfy all thriller audience.👌👌

A solid tight thriller, this one. The story, screenplay, cinematography, background music by Kaala Bhairava, and the casting, they got it right with all of it. The three leads own the film, with their superb acting. Satya's comedy was used really well in the movie, and the makers ensured it was a part of the flow of the narrative, instead of it being a parallel comedy track, like we have seen in many Telugu movies. Vennela Kishore too was great in his small role. Athulya Chandra too left her mark, with some good acting in her small role. But Sri Simha Koduri and Agastya Naresh are the show stealers here. A very confident debut for both.

I usually don't see Telugu movies, it was only by chance I got a to see this movie thanks to Amazon prime and subtitles. Mathu Vadalara is a highly entertaining and absolutely hilarious movie. The making draws inspiration on movies like Snatch and lock stock and two smoking barrels but has nothing to do with those movies.

Mathu vadalara is based on a sizzling script which will leave you dazzled. The fun starts from the word go and the characters are very exiting and entertaining to watch, even for non Telugu movie watchers. Direction is good by Indian standards but is weak in certain parts, but the script and dialogues pretty much make up for it. The movie keeps up our curiosity levels almost throughout the movie and one has to thank the Editor for this.

One has to really appreciate the person handling the subtitles as the mood of the movie is not lost one bit with brilliant choice of supplementing English words. Overall the movie is great way to kick start the weekend and a laughter bandwagon. Mathu vadalara is a absolute joyride and a must watch for all age groups.

We have to encourage Movies like this... No unnecessary characters... No unnecessary love track.... Not even one scene is boring.... Must watch movie for thriller suspence lovers...

This is where the TFI should be heading toward. This movie pulls you in and takes you for a ride. So many references (Breaking bad, Requiem for a dream, GTA V, Golimaar , Telugu serials and other Telugu movie references) will make fans like this thriller even more. The Visual effects were decent for a budget film as well. Except for the last 20 mins, Mathu Vadalara is an enjoyable movie and delivers what it has to offer like the protagonist who is a delivery boy.

Movie is outstanding. One of the best thrillers in Telugu. Everyone worked on this project really did a very good job. The plot was very perfect. There are a lot of unexpected twists. The bgm and the cinematography are the top ranker's for the movie. Need to be very keen while watching the movie. There are lot of minute shots which explains the directors work and observation. The comedy is fresh and the not vulgar. Overall it's an outstanding moivie. Lot of efforts and work is observed. Thanks to the unit worked for this movie and we need more movies like this.
