I really wanted to like this movie ... in fact I live for these kinds of movies ... but it was impossible. First, the Romeo and Juliet comparison is not accurate at all. Second, the movie is full of bad and over the top acting. And third the plot, character motivations and actions doesn't make sense at all... it's all a big mess. I'm sad to say this, but dont waste your time with this movie.

The unusual love story always hits a little different if you've experienced it at least once in your life. There were certain parts of this film that made me think of that special someone which made this film that much better. Overall, the Director did a really good job with the vision with an addition of a good cast and solid editing I would give it an eight on the originality mean in a 10 for making a tap in to the feels. This is one of those movies that I would definitely recommend on a date night or one of those nights where you just eat in a tub ice cream alone in the living room, the Director and crew did an amazing job with this final product.

The ending spoke a trillion words all at once. This movie did something Ive never seen done before but you have to pay attention and see the characters for thier obviosities not "over the top" comparison. This movie hit home. It rang of realism. Build to climax.
I admitt, I like it. For themes, from bulying to pressure of parents and homophobia , from hidden attraction for other under skin of humiliation of him, for try of actors, for compassion for too young Emma Catalfamo.
Maybe, the presence of white rabbit , from drawings to target is the main motif for appreciate him.
So, in large terms, a decent film ( more with value of sketch ).
The only problem for me remains the final of film. Maybe , I am not so good Christian ( in fact, obvious I am not ) for accept the generosity of Peter or imagine the reconciliation spirit from bully or noble spirit of his girl friend. The suicide of the beloved remains too traumatic event to cover it so easy.
But, sure, one opinion. Against critics , many just fair, I see it as a reasonable gay film , fair exploration of sensitive themes.

This movie is terrible. So many scenes don't make any sense. The motivations of the characters are unclear, the acting is embarrassing and the plot line is very confusing. We started laughing at it and forced ourselves to watch it up to when the last rabbit was shot (don't ask why the poor white bunnies seem to attract guys with guns). This may sound picky, but it's shot in Canada in the winter and no one wears gloves outdoors. Throughout you are asking why did he/she say that, what are they doing, how did that guy get there.
One of the main characters tries to commit suicide at the beginning of the movie by kicking a hole in an ice-covered pond, planning on drowning in the ice-cold water. Bad plan and a very awkward scene when his friend tries to save him. It was all downhill from there.
No connection to the Shakespeare play whatever. Find another movie.
