For starters, I'm not a Daily Wire Fan. However, I am a fan of well produced films. So setting politics aside, I will review this film based on its merits alone. I'll start by saying, I was in 9th grade when the Columbine shooting took place. It completely changed and disrupted the American school experience since that day. Whether your right wing or left wing, this film will strike an emotional cord. I'll say IMO it didn't feel conservatively heavy handed and did well to just tell a story. It was nice to see some familiar actors, which did help make this a watchable film. I think everyone will have a different take a way from this film, and I can only share mine. Senseless violence is always tragic, especially when it involves young people. Something tipped these young people over the edge to do this. Now we live in a world where we are not a safe as we once were. So my question is, what are we doing every day to say to ourselves what can I do to love my neighbor more. What can I do to tip the societal balance back in the right direction. Our young people need us to show up, our co-workers need us to show up, we all need each other to show up and choose love, acceptance, and forgiveness everyday. You can't save everyone, but you can do your best to make a difference where you are at.
