The storyline of this movie is different but this is good. Acting is also superb. Specially the story of this movie is a great initiative to our society.

The movie has its heart in its right place. It is a honest attempt to portray some serious regular issues like women empowerment plus gender inequality. Rithabhari did a fine job but some how I had a feeling while pronouncing the puja sloks or verse, she might have gone way too much conscious which effected her screen portrayal.Soham Majumder of Kabir Singh fame as the husband of the protagonist did a decent job. The movie could have been much better if only the pre climax or the climax didnt had that amount of cliche melodramatic attempt. In short : Decent One time watch.

Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti - story inspired by Smt. Nandini Bhowmik's life, is an absolute pick for Women's Day. Stared by my personal favourite Ritabhari Chakraborty ran her own show with the support of Soham Majumdar portrayed a perfect husband-wife (name of Bikramaditya and Sarbari aka Panchali) in an imperfect society.

This movie was a direct slap on some of the jinx of our society. And I can't afford to miss it's points: 1. Cast System - Brahmin cannot marry a lower cast. 2. Women Enlightenment - Only a Brahmin Man is allowed to be a priest. 3. Periods - A women can't enter in temples or worship Gods when she is in her periods. 4. NO Kanyadaan - A girl is not a thing or money that can be donated as "Daan". Like a boy a girl also choose her mate with equal rights.

And it ended with two good messages: 1. A woman can do anything if she is determined. 2. In life you will find so many good and bad things happening around you. You should always consider those good things to grow up and ignore the bad parts and move on.

The film is based on women empowerment. The story mainly revolves around a lady who wants to be a priest but in the bengali society it is not allowed for a woman to become a priest of a temple. The message of the film is good but it is not a film that you will remember for even a month. We expected much more from a film made by Shiboproshad.

True display of women power. Must watch. Fantastic acting. Great story and screenplay.

A brilliant movie.

As an audience I would say that a must watch is an understatement. The story, dialogues, making of the film, acting is absolutely mesmerizing. Especially the camera work. Oh my god the director of photography is really a talent man. Will expect more eye soothing camerawork from you in future. Secondly the music. I am listening the track kon gopone in a loop for a long time. We can easily relate to the each characters of the film as they seem to be belongs to our very own family or to the next door.

A film can change a society, Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti is a perfect example of that. This year a popular durga puja organiser, 66 Palli has decided to have female priests in their puja. All stereotypes are about to break. All the best to the entire cast and crew of Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti for gifting us a movie that has a huge impact on our society.

The only good thing in this movie is it's music. Rather than the music nothing is there to appreciate. Poor & abrupt editing, pathetic camera work , pathetic screen play & worst dialogue writing . Above all , pathetic acting . Director Aritra Mukherjee had no idea how to extract acting from the actors. I feel petty for talented Soham Majumdar & Subhashis Mukherjee. Ritabhari Chakraborty , Manashi Sinha , Soma Chatterjee are pathetic in acting . 95% of the film based on close shots & unnecessary branding. A perfect daily soap.

Not a great debut for Aritra Mukherjee as an Director. Film making is not everyone's cup of tea.

Hats off to the team to make a movie on such a topic. I wish people understand the message and make sure such restrictions are not imposed on their daughters and wives.

Another great work from 'WINDOWS'. Though I'm not a supporter of feminism or women empowerment, but this film is just outstanding. Ritabhari Chakraborty did her best performance and won our heart. Love ❤ for her...

This movie is created for creating havoc and challenge the Hindu ancient culture and heritage. I condemn this movie and want to convey my disgusts to the concern authority for not creating such clueless, propagation against the Hindu religion.

Worst movie tried to attack faith of hinduism. What's the meaning of this? You guys don't believe in Hindu Dharma then why attack it? For What purpose? For your fun? Can you do with other religions? I bet you cann't.

What better can you expect? Watched this painful pre-historic cliche movie as there was nothing else to see. Still.recovering from the onslaught.
