'Adam' will open Method film fest
The 11th annual Method Fest Independent Film Festival, which runs March 26-April 2 in Calabasas, Calif., will kick off with Max Mayer's "Adam," starring Rose Bryne and Hugh Dancy.

The fest, named after the Method actor technique, will feature the world premieres of "A Deal is a Deal," starring Imelda Staunton and Colm Meany; "Anytown," starring Matt O'Leary; "Cat City," starring Rebecca Pidgeon and Julian Sands; "Dropping In: The True Story of Don Wimmer," starring David Klane; "Lunatics, Lovers and Poets," starring Leif Gantvoort; "The Parts Left Over," starring Beth Huggings and Bilal Mir; "Pig Hunt," starring Travis Aaron Wade and Les Claypool; "My Sixteenth Summer," starring Ali Deegan; Becky Smith's "16 to Life," starring Hallee Hirsch; "Stephanie's Image," starring Melissa Leo; and "The Twenty," starring Chopper Bernet, who also directed.
