Another horror film based on Junko Furuta's savage murder.

Gunji Kawasaki's 1997 movie "Juvenile Crime" aka "Schoolgirl in Cement" was based on the same real-life murder case as Katsuya Matsumura's 1995 movie "Concrete-Encased High School Girl Murder Case" and Hiromu Nakamura's 2004 movie "Concrete".It has been mistaken for Matsumura's movie by a number of bootleggers. In November of 1988 four young men abducted and held Furuta for several weeks in the house of one of the captors. The girl was violently raped and subjected to torture and sexual degradation for example she was forced to masturbate. On 4th January 1989 four sadists beat her with an iron barbell, poured lighter fluid on her legs, arms, face and stomach and immolated her.She died later that day of shock and her mutilated corpse was hidden in an oil-drum filled with cement."Juvenile Crime" is an incredibly sleazy and unpleasant film loaded with scenes of sexual violence, rape and abuse. It purely exploits the brutal murder of Junku Furuta, unlike Katsuya Matsumura's supremely nihilistic and overall better "Concrete-Encased High School Girl Murder Case".7 out of 10.

A sickening and exploitative portrayal of Junko Furuta's tragic demise

This is the only film I simply could not finish because of how morally reprehensible and vile it is. I made it only a little over half-way through, and honestly, I want to cry as I am writing this. I had plenty of intention to see this for a long time, but I did not expect something so utterly immoral and perverse, it makes Slaughtered Vomit Dolls and August Underground look average horror films.

The Junko Furuta murder is well-known for how utterly cruel and sickeningly depraved it was, and Juvenile Crime seemingly attempts to depict a shred of the horrors she went through. This film is absolutely disturbing, but for all the wrong reasons; a good disturbing movie like Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom is supposed to shock you with its extreme content, but not glamorise the debauchery depicting on the screen. The reason Juvenile Crime is so disturbing is for one reason: It turns the Junko Furuta tragedy into literal hardcore rape pornography. An overwhelmingly large portion of this film is nothing but gang rape scenes presented in such extreme, prolonged, and explicit detail, frequently showing actual penetration and full nudity. It's genuinely like something out of Tumbling Doll of Flesh.

The utter disrespect towards Junko Furuta is immeasurable, as it seems this is a film made for viewers to get off to. It is masturbatory material for people with a rape fetish, yet the creators of this film decide to base their sick fetish material it on a real tragedy against an innocent 17-year-old girl. I won't even begin to give any sort of technical analysis as it is simply is not worth it. Why would I give any attempt of an in-depth review towards repulsive fetish material that spits in the face of an innocent girl who had been brutally raped, tortured, and murdered? All I have to say is, I have nothing but contempt for this film. Truly, one of the most morally reprehensible films I have ever attempted to watch. I will give Concrete a try, and pray it is not exploitative pornographic garbage like this film.

A tasteless film for those who like them grim and nihilistic.

Juvenile Crimes is one of several films based on the infamous abduction, rape, torture and murder of 17-year-old Junko Furuta by a group of teenage delinquents, a brutal crime that came to be known as the 'concrete-encased high school girl murder case' because of the callous manner in which the boys disposed of Junko's body (they dumped her in a barrel and covered her with concrete).

Directed by Gunji Kawasaki, the film depicts the events in a purely exploitative manner, with unflinching scenes of violence and prolonged scenes of graphic sexual assault that would be hardcore if it wasn't for the pixellation. Presented with zero tact or consideration for friends and family of the victim, Juvenile Crimes is an unpleasant and sleazy film that offers no judgement, no insight and no commentary, it's sole purpose being to allow viewers to revel in the sexual abuse and sadism on display.

    Horrible film, very exploitive

The movie is based off a real life murder, and pays no respect to the victim. The girls's parents already went through so much- I can only imagine how her parents felt hearing about this. If your going to have rape and gore in horror- make it have a purpose in the story, then make the story have a point. This movie felt like the creators wanted an excuse to make torture porn to get off to. I wish you could rate something 0 stars.
