Trivia

Betrayed

Edit
The Norwegian title, Den største forbrytelsen, translates as "The Greatest Crime."
AFTERWORD: "The plot in this movie is based on real events. Several of the film's characters are based on people who have lived, others are fictionalized. There are many strong and important stories about the fate of the Norwegian Jews during the Second World War. Both among the 735 who were killed in German death camps, the survivors, and the approximately 1200 who managed to escape during the War."
Writer Marte Michelet (b. 1975) is a journalist with her own column in Dagbladet, one of Norway's largest newspapers. She often writes about feminist issues, migration and Norwegian refugee politics.
Betrayed (2020) is based on the 2014 book The Ultimate Crime by Norwegian journalist Marte Michelet. The screenplay was written by Harald Rosenløw-Eeg and Lars Gudmestad.
PROLOGUE: "Norway has been occupied by Germany for over two years. In Europe, the Nazi regime has begun deporting and exterminating the Jews."
