The two boats in the musical number of El Retiro are the 19 and 43, the year of birth of Raffaella Carrà (1943).
In the scene where Chimo warns Maria about the new TV censor man, it can be seen a bottle of "Soberano" cognac. It's a popular beverage drink famous at those times for its old macho commercials.
The editing room has the number 186 on the door, the birthday of Raffaella Carrà: June 18th.
Lolita Flores and Ana Belén were considered for the role of Rosa.
In the scene where the Rosets are rehearsing, it can be hear Chimo naming Nino and Bruno, the main characters from Mort de rire (1999), a film about a comic duet set in the 70's that also happens on TVE.

Cameo

Raffaella Carrà: The woman who salutes Amparo (Verónica Echegui) when she's in Rome with Massimiliano (Giuseppe Maggio).
Fede Alvarez: He can be seen in the bar, when Massimiliano ask for María. He is next to his brother, sister in law and mother.
Hugo Stuven: In the scene where María leaves the TV network furious with Amparo. Stuven was a director of TVE famous by the shows he produced along his carrier.
