Game On

This movie is straight up garbage. There is absolutely nothing even remotely competent about it. The acting, writing, cgi, pretty much anything that makes a movie, is done horribly. I have never seen a movie that is *this* irredeemable.

But gosh-darn it, I love this movie so much. Every second is a separate train wreck that is impossible to look away from. Every joke misses, half of the plot points get dropped immediately. It's absolutely beautiful.

It's sort of like the security breach of movies, where it is by far one of the worst in its respective medium, and yet it's also one of my favorite. You will not regret watching game on.

Also in The Netherlands there are no laws yet against using a screenplay that has been written by artificial intelligence.

Looking at Game On's screenwriter Paul de Vrijer it's clear he has written quite a number of films and episodes for tv-shows that receive more than a 7 or even an 8 on IMDb. One can't say the man has no talent for writing.

And then suddenly there's this 2-star production with his name on it. It doesn't make sense.

The same can be said about the overall plot of Game On. It is beyond logical, the story and the fact this was realised and released in the theatres.

There really need to be more Dutch genrefilms, but so far Dutch filmmakers can't seem to understand how to make a decent one. Game On is shamefully illogical, and bit off way more than it could chew with a tiny budget. No, you can't fix everything in post.

In my opinion. The script for this film was written by AI. Because if not, then one can finally say that man has no talent for writing.

Also for non-Dutch speaking viewers: there are phrases in this film that are not Dutch but Google-translated into Dutch, to the point where it's not even proper grammar anymore.

This production is just terrible. The CGI looks like it was made by a drunk 14 year old. The actors are acting like they were seriously held just to perform this garbage and on top of that the scenario, oh man if i could i would give it -20/10. Also including "girls power" got plotted in the worst way possible. I dont want to waste my time telling about some pervy texts that were here. I think this movie was created just to launder money. I wanted to turn off the cinema projector. Every single thing about this stupid abomination is made in the worst freaking possible way. Absolutely disgusting.
