According to Dean Devlin, creator of Almost Paradise, this is the first international scripted television series ever done in the Philippines.
On Feb 8, 2022 both Dean Devlin and Christian Kane tweeted that there WILL be a season 2 of Almost Paradise. On Dec 18, 2022 Dean tweeted from the set where they are currently filming.
Including this show, this is the third collaboration between Christian Kane and Dean Devlin. The other two shows being Leverage (2008) and Flynn Carson et les Nouveaux Aventuriers (2014)
The same meditation/relaxation audio that Walker uses in numerous episodes of "Almost Paradise" is also used in the Leverage: Redemption (2021) episode The Tower Job (2021) by Jason Crawley in the limo.
Alex is often complaining about being short on money. He shouldn't be. While on medical leave from the DEA, he should be drawing his full salary until the doctor makes a final determination on his medical status to return to work, or be medically retired.. Then he would be subject to a one year follow up evaluation for permanent retirement status.
