Gymnastics are impressive

If you ignore the fact that gymnastics girls are well trained, and in this movie they all look good, it is exiting to watch hove incredibly gymnastics is. It's not like anyone can just do it, like everyone can hit a ball (meaning, to be good in football you ofcourse need to practice as much). Acting...hmm.. the coach is a really bad actor..its like she was just dropped down on pure luck. Same goes for some of the girls. The story is thin but if you want to see some spectacular moves ,(or just want to see some well shaped girls), this is it. The first movie does actually have a better story.

Poor storyline and terrible acting

I saw the first Full Out movie and enjoyed it. The acting was good and it had a nice story about Ariana Berlin. When I saw the second one was available on Netflix I decided to watch it too. OMG! What a difference in two movies! The second one had no storyline to follow and the acting was terrible! Don't waste your time on it......not worth watching!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING

When I saw the movie was about the Oklahoma University gymnastics team, I was extremely excited because they are my favorite gymnastics team. But just a couple minutes into the movie, I was already not liking what I saw.

1. Of course, they had stunt doubles doing all the skill, which I already knew was the case before the movie. But, after every tumbling pass they would have the cameras at there face and have them saluting and standing proud. LIKE THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU END EVERY SKILL.

2. When the actors would "fall" on events it looked like they literally were forced to and was super unnatural!

3. Which leads to point three. The actors were very unnatural in there acting and I don't think they may have been the right fit for the parts. They didn't have the build like a gymnast usually does and some didn't look like there characters. I honesty think the gymnasts should have just played there own roles and it would have been a lot better.

4. This was the worst though. DID ANYONE SEE THAT "VAULT" TOWARDS THE END OF THE MOVIE THE COMPETITION?!?!?! Like she literally skipped down the runway, hit the springboard, CUT OUT THE VAULT PART, THEN YOU COULD SEE HER JUMP OFF THE TABLE, AND THEN OF COURSE THE PERFECT LANDING?!?!? I actually replayed that about five times just because it was so bad.

5. Not to mention that they did BACK LAYOUTS and JUST FLYAWAYS as skills at a COLLEGE LEVEL is just wrong. And the girls thought it was amazing!?!?! Like they should be doing at least double backs or double fulls!?!?! Like what the heck!

As a gymnast and actor myself, I think they could have done A LOT better with this movie. They really made the first movie look bad. Please take my suggestion and do not watch this movie if you haven't already! I really wish I could get that hour and a half back.

A very regular film, including and debating inclusion and gender equality...

It seems that also based on real facts, on the experience of artistic gymnastics, but at another university, and on the departure of champion gymnast Brenna Dowell, it doesn't have the same charm and drama as the previous one, cute foot, has two good protagonists, inclusion with the special gymnast Chelsea Werner, also in real life, and that's the great achievement of the film, including and debating inclusion and gender equality, other than that, a very regular film, a bit captivating for the dancing and gymnastics...

Watched this movie for Liza Janette Wilk

I watched this movie mainly to see the performance of Liza and I'm impressed with her acting skills and gymnastics skills is an added advantage. I felt bit lag in the narration of the movie. But an attempt to make film on gymnastics is commendable. Other actors performance is also good. Wish them a good luck and great success to the team!!

Family Friendly Film

I watched this movie recently with my young nephew and niece and was pleasantly surprised. The writing and directing are far from good, but it's cute...

The girl playing Natalie and the Ballet teacher were the only decent actors, and none of them looked like real gymnasts.

I added an extra star for Chelsea Werner, who is a special olympian. Inclusion is so important, and she's an inspiration.

Overall, good stunts from the real gymnasts, but far too many dancing segments for a "gymnastics" film. Could've cut those scenes down immensley.

If you like Disney plotlines coupled with dance and gymnastics, this film may be for you.

Terrible acting and super low budget, cool tricks and good dancing

This is a terrible movie, the storyline is terrible, it's like Glee for gymnastics but with a terrible story and awful acting.

The cast is very talented from a technical perspective, but they just can't act.

It seems they found a bunch of regular people that can do tricks, instead of actors, they could have at least tried to sprinkle some professional actors or attractive people in the roles that don't require technical capabilities, the script is also terrible, feels like someone's first attempt at writing a movie.

That said, the message is nice, the tricks are cool.

Is this even a movie?

I loved the talent and skill the gymnasts and dancers had in this movie. BUT there is no story development, no drama, it just doesn't make sense. This movie IS watchable though, the dancing and gymnastics make up for it.

nothing is right about this

Lol they could have consulted someone to help them with terminology instead of winging it. More technical points? Like wth... should have been about peng.

Great family movie with fun dancing and gymnastics!

This is rated G movie about college gymnastics and hip hop dancing based on true story of 2016 OU female gymnastics team. The storylines follow four of the lead gymnasts and their individual challenges and victories. The style is reminiscent of a Disney TV movie and appeals to a wide audience. Inspiring and fun film, especially for younger gymnasts, dancers, and artists. Cameos by past Olympic champions and one special Olympic champion. Love AJ and Elliott's relationship!

The College Experience

I'm not writing this review from the perspective of phenomenal film quality or accurate gymnastics portrayal. Instead, what I really enjoyed about this movie was the way they portrayed the college experience. The friendship dynamics, personalities and interests that the characters held, even the conversations that they had all felt really accurate to my college experience - more so than any college movie I've ever seen.

It was really refreshing to see people who actually looked college age play college aged characters. They weren't glammed up and they had priorities and lives that were all different and that was really cool to see. I appreciate the way the writers gave each individual character a different set of wants, interests, and dynamic personalities instead of focusing on two dimensional characters helping one or a few three dimensional characters.

It also showed that college can actually be a pretty normal and innocent experience. I think that's important for young people to see because not everyone's college life is like frat parties and clubs 24/7. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I really enjoyed the representation in this movie and the message. It meant a lot to me to see such relatable content.
