On Tuesday, 14th March 2023, the British Broadcasting Corporation confirmed that the comedy would not be returning for a second series. The first series opened with decent ratings but the number of viewers declined rapidly as the series progressed. The series also received mixed reviews.
Daisy May Cooper (Thomasine Gooch) and Celeste Dring (Goodwife Griffin) starred together in 'This Country' [2017-2020].
Somewhat surprisingly parts of the series were filmed close to the very heart of London at Fulham Palace Gardens, not far up river from the old Battersea Power Station.
