It's not often a show comes along where you have absolutely no idea where it's going or what might happen next.
Quirky, witty, almost cartoonish but full of existential depth.
Think The Good Place mixed with Brazil mixed with a demented Wings of Desire.
And punishment for breaking the rules? "Watching Nicolas Cage in City of Angels endlessly for all eternity!"

What a great find on Netflix!! Original and sexy and fun. This series is great and I'm hoping to see Season 2 - 10. Funny, creative, original content and their all hot.

This has been one of the cleverest and most engaging series I've had the pleasure to watch in years. I have a pretty demanding sense of humor, so the fact that this series makes me laugh out loud frequently and has me smiling almost throughout the whole thing is impressive to me. The acting and the cinematography are overall excellent, and the plot is quite original, with lots of witty commentary on the human experience and the strange ways humans organize themselves and act. It also has genuine drama (that is, it doesn't feel artificial or contrived) and many unexpected plot twists that will keep you guessing, and which make this a very engaging watch. Along with Sex Education, it's the only other series I'm looking forward to the next season with bated breath!
To put icing on the cake, the English subtitles are absolutely top notch and convey the seemingly untranslatable jokes from Portuguese into English seamlessly (I watched it in Portuguese with English subtitles on for amusement). Props to the translator(s)!
Please do yourself a favor and give this quirky series a chance! If you're not hooked in by the first episode, then it's probably not for you.

The first episode is engaging, showing a public sector outfit, full of manuals and stamps, of ginger angels, receiving the "order of the day". From this setting up to the last minute "Nobody's looking" is a complete set of jokes, pokers, and fun about our prejudices, bureaucracy, luck and the asking the right questions.
I loved the series, fast and funny, and can't wait to watch the second season. Spot on, Netflix, you nailed it!!

We've seen new shows where Heaven and Hell' spawns were slobs, like one of us. So why one more ? Because it's fun !
the 3% had a Brazillian feeling about it but it was dark. This one is light. It makes you smile. It's a feel-gooood series. We need those, badly. It's pretty hard to write good comedies. Better write a blockbuster on a post-it and pack it with action to become famous.
But, let's say it : we enjoy nice things. If absurd makes you laugh and you despise cruel jokes, this one is defenitely worth a try.

- GoofsThroughout the first season, the captions and the dubbed dialogue often do not match except in general terms and ideas. It is not uncommon for the spoken word and the caption do not share one single common word in two or three sentences.
