Oscar Isaac in The Card Counter (2021)

Goofs

The Card Counter

Edit

Factual errors

The discard tray to the dealer's right is a) too close to the 3rd-base player, and b) almost full even though there are at least two more decks in the shoe ahead of the cut card.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

The blackjack tables are missing the "hole card peeker" mirror that is needed so the dealer can look at the corner of his hole card to determine if he has 21 without bending the card and without seeing its value.

Although the blackjack table "hole card peeker" exists most casinos, there are plenty casinos that do not have this. The dealers check it the old fashioned way.
Dark sunglasses are generally not permitted at blackjack tables. One reason is to prevent players from wearing special glasses that can show them cards that were previously marked either by themselves or by a co-conspirator with a substance that can be seen by wearing the glasses.

This is not correct. Although there may be some casinos that do not allow dark sunglasses, but anyone who has watched (and played in) the WSOP knows dark sunglasses are common.
A scene is intended to be Delaware Park. Of course, it was not filmed at Delaware Park. However, the overhead establishing view of the setting is nothing near to the small and sparse footprint of buildings at Delaware Park.

This is not a goof, it's "creative geography" and is a widely used cinematic device.
The finale shows William incarcerated at the same federal facility where he previously served time. However, murder is a state crime and so he would serve time in a Virginia state prison.

Bill Oscar Isaac was sentenced to 10 years and released after serving 8-1/2, so was probably still on parole. By committing a subsequent felony he would have to serve the rest of his sentence in Leavenworth before finishing the concurrent sentence in a civilian prison.
