This is more like a documentary on journalism than it is on the case of Keli Lane. It's a story that could have been told in half the time if it wasn't for all the time shot of the 2 girls spent in the office. There was way too much footage on them in their office making phone calls and getting hung up on. A lot of "Hi, this is... from ABC....", "I don't want to talk" click.
Aside from that it's an interesting story. I watch a lot of true crime docs and don't find myself on the fence often, but this case has me baffled. Why would she KILL her 2nd baby when it was so easy to adopt out her 1st and 3rd (which she basically just dropped off)? Why would she not just abort if she was so afraid of exposing the father? They dont ask many questions, and certainly dont ask about the father. On the other hand, why would this elusive Andrew M/Norris not come forward with Tegan when a women's (the mother of his child no less) life was at stake? I see other reviews questioning how she could show so little concern on where Tegan is, but its clear that this woman, after 5 unwanted/unplanned pregnancies in almost as many years can compartmentalize and seperate herself from children in her womb. But, she is obviously mentally ill though and is full of "how I was raised...." excuses. She's definitely narcissistic and the ultimate victim in her mind and it's kind of sickening. So many questions still after this documentary.
