Last season was an unusual one for Fox. The network aired nine scripted series and didn't cancel any of them. Fox continues introducing and renewing new shows even with low ratings as long as they are owned by the corporation. It's important to be able to keep licensing fees under control and monetize programs in various ways. Which Fox shows will survive the 2024-25 season? Stay tuned.
How do the execs decide what to cancel or keep? They look at a lot of economic factors, but the ratings still play a large role. The higher the ratings, the better the chances a show has of surviving. These 2024-25 season charts will be updated daily, as new ratings data becomes available.

What a premiere!
The Cleaning Lady is back, and dare I say, better than ever.
Fox has teased for months that the series would be shifting gears considerably, and boy, The Cleaning Lady Season 4 Episode 1 sent every single storyline in fascinating directions.
(Jeff Neumann/Fox)
It grabbed my attention from the first scene and didn’t let go until the end, which is the mark of a good show in my book.
The Cleaning Lady Season 3 meandered for episodes before reaching an abrupt conclusion that promised a reset of sorts, so the pay off so far seems worth that season.
(Jeff Neumann/Fox)
Thony gets harder as the seasons go by, and she was on her A-game throughout the premiere as she faced continued adversity.
Liza Weil’s return was kept well under wraps, which made it even more surprising that Russo was open to sponsoring the De La Rosa...

Let’s get something straight.
Shifting Gears may be Tim Allen’s latest comedic vehicle (see what I did there?), but it is nothing like Home Improvement, nor was it ever intended to be.
I hated Home Improvement so much that I rarely stayed in the same room if it was on, and I love this show. And no, it’s not because I’m a Tim Allen superfan, either.
(Disney/Raymond Liu) Shifting Gears Isn’t A Reboot Just Because It Stars Tim Allen
I didn’t know much about Tim Allen beyond the fact that he was in my least favorite sitcom ever and that he’s outspoken about political beliefs I don’t share.
I never watched Last Man Standing and found Home Improvement irritating.

The penultimate hour of Rescue: Hi-Surf turned out to be a rather sad event overall, leading you to wonder how things will ultimately play out for the finale.
Everyone was doing their own thing in certain ways, as there was no big rescue bringing everyone together, but there was a lot of learning going on. That’s the best way to describe the events, honestly.

This is a scene-by-scene recap of NCIS Season 22 Episode 15, “Moonlit.” For a discussion about the episode, visit our NCIS Season 22 Episode 15 review.
Jimmy is drawing a sketch from Parker’s description of someone. It’s quite an emotional description. Jimmy is happy to help crack the case, but Parker says it’s not case-related.
He’s having Jimmy draw an old friend. The drawing is of a little girl in pigtails. Jimmy nailed it, and Parker sees a vision of the girl behind Jimmy, wearing a dress and yellow sweater.
(Sonja Flemming/CBS )
Nick rides up on his motorcycle. Sawyer worried about scratches on his nearby vehicle. He’s part of the night crew. He’s a little arrogant. He gets the most out of his paychecks, which is why he has a large truck, and Nick doesn’t.
McGee laughs. Good old Sawyer, huh? Last week, he learned Sawyer...

Do you ever feel like you have had your head in the sand and missed something really significant from previous episodes?
Well, that’s where I am after NCIS Season 22 Episode 15, where Parker revisits his past visions of Lily, his father pays a visit, and we have fun with NCIS Agent Dale Sawyer, Nick’s perfect nemesis.

I’ve been nitpicky about NCIS lately because it’s generally so shallow. The cases are the most important part of the series, and while that’s Ok, I think it does the characters a disservice.

The Cleaning Lady is coming back for season 4, so here’s what to remember about the underrated Fox crime drama!
The Cleaning Lady premiered on Fox in 2022 and became a surprise sleeper hit. It centers on Thony De La Rosa (Elodie Yung), a Cambodian-Filipino former surgeon living in Las Vegas with her ill five-year-old son, Luca. With her visa expired, Thony is reduced to being a cleaning lady at a local casino to make ends meet.
The plot kicked in when Thony witnessed drug lord Arman Morales (Adan Canto) killing a rival. To save her life, Thony offers to clean up the crime scene. Before long, she’s the go-to “cleaner” for the mob and it gets worse when the FBI pushes her to become an informant.
The first two seasons balanced Thony trying to keep herself and her family safe, aided by sister-in-law Fiona (Martha Milian). She also fights a strange attraction to Arman,...

The misadventures of beleaguered immigrant Thony De La Rosi (Elodie Yung) in the U.S. continue for a fourth season of The Cleaning Lady, but the Cambodian-Filipina onetime highly successful surgeon “is no longer a counterpuncher scrambling to survive,” says new showrunner Daniel Cerone. Needing to stay in the States after her visa expired to save the life of her then sick young son Luca (now played by the scene-stealing Khalen Roman Sanchez) and seemingly with no other options but deportation, after being in the wrong place at the wrong time, she was pressed into being a crime scene cleaner for Sin Cara, a Las Vegas cartel with roots in Mexico. But now, “sick of being exploited by both sides of the law [she was forced to become a snitch by the FBI] and a woman who knows where the bodies are buried, she is taking control of her life,” Cerone reveals. “We consider this as a repiloting of the...

Yung’s Elektra appeared as the former lover of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock in the series and fans took quite a liking to her. Unlike Jennifer Garner’s version of the career, Yung’s character tapped more into the antagonistic side of Elektra.

After a rough few years in the broadcast landscape, the 2024-25 season has brought in some rays of hope.
To be sure, the long-term structural challenges for network TV remain in a world where streaming is the default platform for the largest share of viewers and ongoing corporate consolidation continues to shrink the number of potential suppliers (and buyers) of shows. But several network shows have achieved breakout status in the past year, and each of the big four broadcasters (ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC) can claim at least one success story among their crop of first-year series. The fact that networks are also the primary suppliers of the long-running, deep-library shows that keep streaming services humming also seems to have sunk in across the industry.
About that corporate consolidation: The past year has continued the trend of media company reorganization. Both Paramount and Disney closed studios (Paramount TV Studios...

Spring might not officially be "sprung" until March 20, but who says we can't unofficially kick things off early? We could all use some sunshine, metaphorical or otherwise. If you're more interested in the "otherwise" part of that sentence, then television has got your back. The wait is almost over for Marvel fans: the two-episode premiere of Daredevil: Born Again is days away. Although a cause for major celebration, it isn't the only one; critically acclaimed fan favorites Dark Winds and The Wheel of Time return for their third seasons on AMC and Prime Video, respectively, while Starz's Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Fox's The Cleaning Lady return for their fourth installments. If you're more of a network television viewer, then Grey's Anatomy, Doctor Odyssey, and 9-1-1 resuming their respective seasons surely won't disappoint.

Doc just scored a second-season renewal, but when is the first-season finale of the Fox hit drama?
Doc has been one of the first big surprises of 2025 network TV. The Fox drama debuted on Tuesday, Jan. 7 with an impressive 16 million viewers watching via various platforms and encores. What looked to be a mid-season filler show has become a good success for the network.
It's now built to Doc earning a second-season renewal, with Fox already giving it a full 22-episode order for Season 2. That's a testament to how the show has connected with viewers.
Right now, the show is building to its first season finale which will thankfully only start its journey on Fox. So when is the finale coming?
When is the Doc season 1 finale?
The series was intended to run at mid-season with Fox only ordering 10 episodes for its first year. That's become standard for some network shows...

Bosch: Legacy reintroduced viewers to Henry Bosch from the iconic TV series Bosch. Legacy follows the gritty LAPD detective turning in his badge for a Private Investigator license. As he is embarking on a new journey in his life, his daughter begins her career as an LAPD Officer at the same precinct her father used to work at. The series wonderfully captures both intriguing criminal investigations and the interesting personal lives of detectives.
Bosch and Bosch: Legacy feature a gritty lead detective who is willing to do whatever it takes in the interest of justice. These series highlight how justice can be a gray area and show an incredibly complex lead who struggles to make the right decisions. Complex leads and issues of morality and justice are common themes on television, and fans of Bosch: Legacy could easily become fans of series like Broadchurch and Mayor of Kingstown that share those themes.

Fans of Disney+ and Marvel are eagerly awaiting the debut of Daredevil: Born Again. The new Disney+ series is a sequel to the Netflix show with Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer whose special abilities allow him to be the costumed crime fighter Daredevil.
The show brings back the rest of the cast, notably Vincent D'onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin. It will also have Jon Bernthal reprise his role as Frank Castle, better known as the brutal vigilante the Punisher, who he played in a Netflix spinoff.
With fans happy to see Daredevil back, there's a question if the other Marvel Netflix series could return. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Marvel's head of streaming, television, and animation, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed, "We are very much exploring" that possibility.

We finally know when The Cleaning Lady and Alert: Missing Persons Unit are returning to Fox, so mark your calendars!
Fox has often waited until the mid-season to unveil most of its lineup. That’s due to how busy Fall TV is, from other networks debuting shows to sports such as NFL and MLB. That means fans of some shows have often had to wait until winter or even spring for new seasons.
Such a case was for two of Fox’s notable crime shows, The Cleaning Lady and Alert: Missing Persons Unit. Both shows wrapped in April 2024 with Fox holding back on new seasons of each.
Thankfully, both shows earned renewals, The Cleaning Lady for season 4 and Alert for season 3. Now, TVLine reports both shows will return on Tuesday, March 25. The Cleaning Lady is first at 8/7c, followed by Alert at 9/8c (Doc will wrap up its freshman season...
