Some sketches are funny, particularly the parodies of infomercials and programmes. The looser concept sketches veer towards gross out and go on a bit long.
But its certainly not 1/10!

Love Iliza's stand up. This show was funny bite sized skits. Not all are hilarious but there were some laugh out loud moments each episode. Light and funny 😄
I gave it a shot because she's a talented stand up comedian, but I didn't find it very funny. In fairness to the show, as a gen-x guy, I don't think I'm in her target demo.
If you're a young female give the show a look, it's probably your kind of humor.

Are you the kind of woman who thinks they're funny because all of your girlfriends laugh at your humour yet all of them are substantially less attractive than you (by design)?
This may be the show for you.
Iliza is very intelligent. No question about it, she's sharp. But she has zero talent for the sketch format. Not any. I can't even call what she does here "hack." That term typically refers to tired old bits or weak material - stuff that was once perhaps funny, or "so bad it's enjoyable." It isn't. It's flat, stolid death.
The show is too self-aware and yet too self-glorifying. There is far too much winking to the audience, and what feels like endless numbers of dragging, on-the-nose meta-ironic fap-fests.
To summarize the entire subtext of the show:
"We know you know, because you should know, but you know we know you know...which we also know... #justgirlythings... Amiright? Whackawhackawhacka!!"
I just saved you 20 minutes of joyless ego-stroke.
On the one hand I feel bad for criticizing anyone for ostensibly trying to bring some joy into this very difficult time in the world. But I can't shake the feeling that she's not doing this for you or me. It's for her. It's for people that are just as self-centred; who justify their condescension and admire their own empty values. I respect what she thinks she's trying to do: represent her perspective as a modern woman defining herself through a post-patriarchal identity. But in so attempting she just comes across as entitled, pretty, petty - essentially postmodern feminine. To the extent that she is accurately representing her views, she's successful...But she forgot to be funny.
Avoid unless you just want to agree or disagree with her. Watch if you think agreeing with someone is the same as finding them humorous.

Not only does Iliza retell many of the jokes from her standup shows in these sketches, many of them also fall flat due to overly lengthy execution of the punchlines. Even though i am a guy, one part i always liked about ilizas stand up were her empowering messages (for women usually) she delivers in between her jokes but while she tried to translate it into the sketch format, the sketches that are supposed to bring the empowering messages just come off as corny and while in her standup she always roots for equality, this sketch show has its fair share of men bashing.
While Ilizas acting is not bad, barely any of the sketches made me laugh, which is why even though she is one of my favorite english speaking comedians i can only give 3 stars. If this series gets renwed i really hope iliza does get some help with the writing and this might actually have some potential to become a decent show.

Gets better the more you watch, I'd like each sketch to be a bit longer though, feels a bit disconnected.

I like Iliza, she's a great standup and is great on podcasts. Her humour just doesn't translate to sketch shows.
This is corny, unfunny, virtue signalling garbage. It's lazy writing, and desperately tries to force the idea that women can be guys too, and that all are just as funny. Starting out with a with a man shouting that women aren't funny, and then the show trying to self label as the "Female Jackass" in some effort to prove the metaphorical man wrong, that women can be crazy and hilarious too would have been a point better proven if the show had a single laugh in it. Oh the irony. I gave this one star as a courtesy, because if it had a star for every laugh in it, it would have zero stars.
It's unfortunate no one at Netflix gives talent any notes for creative freedom purposes, but it results in garbage like this being 90% of what's on Netflix. You will not laugh even a single time. Nikki Glaser, Amy Shumer, Whitney Cummings and Natasha Leggero have all done way funnier stuff outside of standup.
This is what happens when someone who gets more virtue signalling applause than laughs makes a sketch show with no producer to let them know the show doesn't have a shred of funny in it. It's pathetic feminist man bashing and a raking in of perpetual victimhood currency. If you're a man watching this you might as well have an IQ around Bert Kreisher levels to find this funny, because the condescending pretentiousness will make anyone with even average intelligence vomit.

If you need to turn off your brain for a bit this is your show. Its a sketch show, these are usually bad so I would say this one is pretty good. Iliza is a bit out there sometimes and it reflects in her show. I enjoy her somewhat zany humor so I found myself wanting to watch more. A few of the skits i fast fwd through but most were enjoyable.

I didn't know who she is before. I thought some of the sketches were hilarious - Mom Alerts, Female Jackass, Make It Nice. But a lot of the others I couldn't sit through. Sketch shows are always hit and miss so to me that's nbd. Overall the level is average but not unwatchable, and it depends on your sense of humour, cus a lot of this is very dry and like self-aware repetative moronic. I enjoyed watching a few episodes and don't really feel the need to watch more. A lot of these reviews seem particularly harsh and from disappointed stand up fans - stand up and sketch comedy are very different styles of humour so take their reviews with a grain of salt, particularly the ones written by butthurt diversity/feminism critics..

This is possibly the worse sketch show I've ever seen. I like her stand up but didn't laugh at all. It felt forced and fast and I'm so upset with her.

On a scale of 1 to 10 five is average. It means it doesn't offend and it's not incredible. Having said that, that is this. It isn't funny if you watch it once. But if you sit with it, there's a quirky rhythm that's very memorable. I find myself repeating phrases from the show at the weirdest times. She's referencing very unique things. The play off the movie 'nell' is an incredibly original delivery.
* Disclaimer: the gender politics gets a lil heavyhanded.

I wanted to like it but it's just not funny
I didn't laugh once, seemed forced and contrived but really unfunny. Maybe it's wasn't aimed at me.

I'm watching the first episode of the sketch show and all I think is "what the hell is this?!"
I've seen Iliza's two standups on Netflix before, they were super funny, really laughed my a** off. Such a good humor and brutal jokes. When I saw she has her own show released on Netflix I got excited to see it, expecting the style and jokes will be like in her stand up shows. Sat on my couch tonight to binge watch it, I give it up. To me this show is extremely bad. Maybe it's just me. It's not funny at all, the sketches are dumb. But hey that's just my opinion... however, this is truly disappointing. I really like Iliza.

Fat muscle dude work out made me smile a little.
Glad to see Jason Jones get some paid work after Jordan Klepper took his job.
"It Me" was kinda funny
Dont understand the Norwegian references.
Kudos to the person who made the intro. Very nice.
Somehow think this would be funnier if I was born in Boston and had a brick hit me in the head as a child.

As someone that loves Iliza, seen every standup show and in person as well, (upcoming again), I can't quite wrap my mind around how she thought any of this was good. She leaves me in stitches all the time and this was just completely awful/awkward to watch. My wife loves her also and thought this was terrible. Sorry, but just bad!

Sometimes a show just speaks to me. This is one of those shows. It is insanely silly and that's my wheelhouse. The humor feels like if Romy from Romy and Michelle made a sketch show. If you want something super dumb, yet funny, I highly recommend it.

The first 3 episodes are awful. the 4th is bad, the fifth is meh, and the sixth is bad again.
I don't know who the writers for this were, but they shouldn't get any opportunities after this. It's like it was written by people who don't like comedy and don't know what comedy is.

Loved this show, very funny! Some of the skits can be long, but most are spot on. Love Female jackass!
I had not seen her other than the Spenser movie on Netflix. She is excellent, a definite fan from now on!
I love Eliza's comedy (seen all of her recorded shows and in person twice) but I have no idea what happened here.
One of her skills is using her voice and posture to bring other characters alive when she is alone on stage. Perhaps acting in an ensemble plays against her strength. I also noticed that many of the segments went way way too long. When your brain wants to fast forward the entertainer is losing the viewer's attention. Breaking that connection keeps the viewer distant, uninvolved, and not laughing.
I would say to give this a pass, but the whole season has about the same content as two episodes of SNL.
I watched it all just to walk away angry. Netflix could have given the money spent on this trash to fund several funny lesser known comedians some screen time. I've never been a rabid fan of Iliza Schlesinger but can admit she is talented. What she does she does well. I've always thought her act relied heavily on her looks. This show proves that. I wanted to laugh but only cringed. If she has real friends and management, they would urge her to pull this embarrassing garbage off the platform before too many people see it

I was pretty puzzled how such a generic, unfunny woman could win Last Comic Standing about ten years ago. I'm even more puzzled that someone thought giving her a sketch show was a good idea.
The best sketch programs start with a group or an individual who has years of work in the field as amateurs. Think Kids in the Hall, Portlandia, Key and Peele, MadTV, etc.
But Iliza seems to have none of that and it shows. This program certainly meets the Netflix standard for diversity-driven trash.

Add this firmly to the "Not Funny Didn't Laugh" cinematic universe, or as I like to call the NFDLCU. :)
When I came to, towards the very end (thank God), I thought initially somehow I was watching a local cable channel's broadcast of a middle school talent show. But alas, it was still this godawful abomination that had put me to sleep in the first place.
Iliza is amazing and so funny... in her stand up role that made her famous... Which is why I was so looking forward to this.
To be fair, I started to watch it again thinking maybe I had missed something. Maybe I was just in a mood not conducive to connecting with comedy. But once again, alas, 15 mins into it, I realized that's the one thing that was actually missing from this steaming pile of caca.
I'm sorry I respect Iliza soooooooo much, which is why it is with a heavy heart that I even have to go there. But if I can save just one life, from possibly falling victim to this scam, it will have been worth it.
Please, keep your distance at least 6 MILES away from this crap.
