The longer Dragon Ball goes on, the more new powerful characters will be introduced. This applies even in Dragon Ball Daima, despite it being set before Dragon Ball Super. The anime has already introduced formidable new fighters like Gomah, the Tamagamis, and the Majin brothers, but they've now all been topped with the introduction of Megaths.
The main inhabitants of the planet Mega in the Second Demon World, Megaths are giants and the second-most dangerous species in the Demon Realm. In Episode 13 of Daima, "Surprise," a mere Megath child is able to hold an edge over Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo in battle. Megath children are incredibly strong, and most Dragon Ball Z characters couldn't defeat one.

Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Z elevates the celebrated shonen anime to new heights through exaggerated action sequences, an expanded scope, and extremely powerful heroes and villains who can cycle through various transformations in order to get stronger. Dragon Ball Z is rich in unforgettable battles and suspenseful action. It also still retains a lot of the broad comedy and character-driven storytelling that was present in the original Dragon Ball.
Additionally, Dragon Ball Z isn’t afraid to embrace horror and science fiction when it comes to many of its villains and obstacles. Dragon Ball will never be a horror anime. However, there are still some major moments in Dragon Ball Z that are deeply unsettling and as scary as anything that audiences would find in a horror movie.

Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Z is a monumental anime for many reasons. It’s easy to get caught up in Dragon Ball’s captivating characters, suspenseful storytelling, and exaggerated action sequences. That being said, the writing and visuals are only a fraction of what makes Dragon Ball Z – or really any anime – such a success. The musical score is such an essential ingredient and often the deciding element in whether a sequence becomes an all-time classic. Dragon Ball Z’s music was composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi, but Funimation decided to produce their own original score for their English dub.
This music, masterminded by Bruce Faulconer, has a passionate audience in the Dragon Ball community. There are even many fans who grew up with Dragon Ball Z’s English dub that prefer the Faulconer score to the original music. There are more than 300 Bruce Faulconer tracks that make up more...

Yes, a Tupac quote came to mind while watching Accused Season 2 Episode 4 and Michael Chiklis‘ tour de force return to the series.
If you’re a music fan with eclectic taste, you know the intersecting point between Rap and Country is in the storytelling that often gives voice to disenfranchised communities, which society ironically loves to convince are more different than similar.
(Courtesy of Fox)
And that’s decidedly not the case, whether in sprawling rural communities or urban cities, from Appalachian regions to rust belt towns like the one featured in this hour.
As a result, two different music genres could have the same message and resonate so profoundly.

There are many recurring elements that have gone on to define the Dragon Ball franchise, but transformations are far away the most popular of these tropes. Goku and the rest of Dragon Balls heroes have been saved countless times over thanks to opportune transformations that elevate their power to new heights. Surprising transformations are a great way to punctuate a story arc or battle, as well as an effective tool to highlight how much a character has grown.
There are some stunning Dragon Ball transformations that have helped define the franchise, such as the Super Saiyan ascension, Ultra Instinct, or Gohans recent Beast mode metamorphosis. These transformations combine incredible power with sleek designs. That being said, strong transformations arent always a pretty process and Dragon Ball has its share of forms that are downright ugly, despite their advantageous power boosts.

Even Nick, Faith, and Mariah have realized that all is not right with Sharon on The Young and the Restless. But they still don’t know exactly what is happening with her. For viewers, Sharon is obviously plotting something, and it has, at least in part, to do with her guilt and grief over losing Cassie. In the meantime, viewers have also been wondering what the point of Mariah and Tessa adopting little Aria was if we never see either moms or baby. But what if those two stories are about to come together…in the most horrifying of ways?

At this year’s Sdcc, it was revealed that Robert Downey Jr. will return to the MCU as Doctor Doom. While the exact details of his introduction remain unclear, fans speculate he could play a completely different character or an alternate evil version of Iron Man.
Mixed reactions have followed, but if Rdj portrays an alternate reality Tony Stark who becomes Doctor Doom instead of Iron Man, it could pave the way for a depiction of one of the Hulk’s most sinister variants from the comics.
We’re discussing Maestro Hulk from the “Future Imperfect” storyline. In this future timeline, following a nuclear apocalypse, Hulk evolves into a tyrannical dictator ruling over the desolate land of Dystopia. Once a hero, Bruce Banner has lost all his redeeming qualities and even forsaken his love for Betty.

Akira Toriyamas Dragon Ball is responsible for some unforgettable villains who have gone on to become terrifying benchmarks for the shonen genre. Cell doesnt get his due often enough despite his impressive powers, effective design, and everything that he accomplishes including Gokus death. Cell is one of the most prominent examples of a Dragon Ball villain turning the heroes signature attack against them and he proves to be incredibly resilient when faced with growing Super Saiyan upgrades.
Like many of Dragon Ball Zs greatest antagonists, Cell relies upon multiple transformations to reach perfection. Whats curious about Cell is that he cant trigger these transformations himself. He requires a living fuel source Androids 17 and 18 in order to achieve peak power. Theres a lot to examine in Cells unique forms which include several more niche transformations all culminating into one of Dragon Ball Zs most interesting antagonists.

Shonen anime are the bread and butter of the anime industry. Shonen anime tend to be the most successful anime, and they're almost always cited as "classic" anime. These older shonen anime were so good and popular that, even today, they inspire nostalgia and continue to influence anime.
Just because a shonen anime is a nostalgic classic doesn't exactly mean that it's perfect or even good. Like many anime made years or decades ago, these anime fell short in some key areas and aged poorly in others. This, however, had little to no effect on the affection and nostalgia that these anime's passionate fans feel.

In Star Trek: The Next Generation, an alternate future sees Admiral Picard helping Romulans, foreshadowing his actions in Star Trek: Picard. The show often explores the idea of enemies becoming allies, as demonstrated by characters like Chekov and Worf. While the future in Tng turns out to be a simulation, it still hints at Picard's willingness to help Romulans, which aligns with his character in the new series.
An episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation depicts a future timeline in which Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) is helping Romulans, just as he does in Star Trek: Picard. Movie stars Zhou Xun and Jelly Lin head the cast of “Imperfect Victim,” a new mainland Chinese drama series that focuses on workplace sexual harassment and leads to a rape trial.
Zhou plays a lawyer who steps in to represent the character played by Lin (“The Mermaid”), who alleges assault by her boss at work. He is portrayed by TV veteran Liu Yijun. The case becomes complicated and Zhou’s character is forced to question her own ethics.
The show is highly topical, given the slowly building #MeToo movement in China. This is being fuelled by numerous instances of sexual discrimination, sexual assault and outright violence towards women, many instances of which have gone viral on Chinese social media before being deleted by censors.
