Hallmark Channel Spoilers: Greene Is Sharing His Stories On His Website

Greene has been showcasing his beloved tales from shooting Hallmark Christmas movies on his website, known as the Greene Room Blog.

The stories feature a reflection on filming “When Calls the Heart,” and a recount of a moment when he made a selfless gesture to film a Christmas movie. He has announced his intention to release a total of 12 posts and has already posted six at the time of this article’s publication.

Christmas in July will return to Hallmark bringing Crashing Through The Snow, starring Amy Acker and Warren Christie, to the lineup.

The annual summer movie celebration will kick off Friday, July 9 and will run until Sunday, July 31. Crashing Through The Snow will make its Hallmark debut Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. The film centers on Maggie (Acker), who joins her ex-husband Jeff (Kristian Brunn) and his girlfriend Kate (Brooke Nevin) for a Christmas getaway in Aspen, where she meets Kate’s brother, Sam (Warren Christie).

Crashing Through the Snow is from Through the Snow Pictures Inc. Stan Spry, Eric Woods and Ryan M. Murphy are executive producers. Anthony Fankhauser is co-executive producer.

This year’s lineup will also include a 2020 Movie Marathon, Soap Sunday and Countdown to Christmas Greatest Hits, which will feature holiday movies including The Christmas Ring and Crown for Christmas.

Blu-ray debuts

This year saw the first release of several Christmas favorites on Blu-ray, from Paul Feig’s 2019 sleeper hit “Last Christmas” (Universal Home Entertainment) to the first North American hi-def releases of the moving and funny anime classic “Tokyo Godfathers” (Gkids/Shout Factory), a contemporary adaptation of the Christmas-set Western tale “3 Godfathers,” and the all-star WWII drama “A Midnight Clear” (Shout Selects). The latter, a 1992 adaptation of the William Wharton novel from writer-director Keith Gordon, features a cast of up-and-coming actors who would eventually become filmmakers themselves, including Ethan Hawke, Peter Berg, Frank Whaley, and Gary Sinise.

The Hallmark Channel is set to host its annual Christmas in July event! The network announced the news in a press release on Thursday, saying, "Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries once again bring the yuletide poolside this July, with the return of the networks' popular summertime Christmas-movie programming events starring fan-favorites Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Holly Robinson Peete, Danica McKellar, Chad Michael Murray, Ryan Paevey and more."

Starting June 29, Hallmark will show three Christmas movies each weeknight. On Fridays, the network will double-feature films from the same franchise, including Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas and Time for You to Come Home for Christmas - which will grace the small screen on July 3 - as well as Christmas in Angels Falls and Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday - which will broadcast on July 10. There will also be a special Fourth of July tribute to veterans with military-themed holiday movies,...

Since we’ve no place to go, Hallmark Channel is letting it snow.

Doing its part to ease the anxieties of self-quarantined viewers, the cable network will air a marathon of Christmas movies from March 20-22, TVLine has learned.
