During the hospital chapter you can find a note about a female patient that speaks is showing more and more violent behavior, this is a reference to Sarah Connor who was in a mental institution at the beginning of T2.
Patrick asks Rivers what the dog's name should be. Rivers can suggest either Max or Wolfie. Max was a german shepherd owned by John Connor's foster parents. Wolfie was a made-up name by T-800 when it tricked T-1000 to reveal itself.

The game was first announced in 2013, under the title "Terminators: The Video Game" from Reef Entertainment. It was planned to be the first in two games, both would have been derived from the first two films.
