Over the years, Netflix has produced movies featuring A-list actors and TV shows that starred beloved celebrities. As impressive as that is, it could be argued that one of Netflix's reality shows is a bigger deal. Queer Eye arguably has been a much bigger deal because the revival of the original influential series has spread so much love into the world.

As most Netflix users know, the streaming service has produced many great reality shows. However, most of them haven't punched through into the pop culture the same way that Queer Eye has. After all, there is a reason why Jonathan Van Ness can charge a fortune for a haircut. The reason why Queer Eye is such a big deal is it puts so much love into the world. Despite that, one of Queer Eye's heroes revealed the disgusting attacks that came when the fab five gave them a makeover.

After six thrilling seasons of the massively successful Queer Eye For The Straight Guy reboot, Queer Eye season 7 is officially back. Cultural icons Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, and Karamo Brown will reprise their roles as experts on grooming, home, food and wine, fashion, and culture, respectively, on Netflix. Soon, the Fab Five will head down to New Orleans to make over deserving participants.

In each episode, the Fab Five make over an individual or group called the week’s “hero,” and improve that hero’s lifestyle and self-confidence. Queer Eye jumpstarted the popularity of reality television on Netflix, and increased the representation of members of the Lbgtq+ community and people of color on mainstream television. The newest season of the award-winning series is sure to be another hit.

Season four is the most recent season of Queer Eye as of the time of this article, having aired July 2019. The special, Queer Eye: We're In Japan! followed November of the same year, and the fifth season is set to air sometime in 2020.
