Terrence Howard, Channing Tatum, and Zulay Henao in Fighting (2009)

FAQ

Fighting

FAQ

Fighting is based on a screenplay written by screenwriter Robert Munic and director Dito Montiel. Its based on a movie called "Hard Times" with Charles Bronson and James Coburn.

Shawn was mad at Harvey and Zulay because they lied to him. Zulay had lied to Shawn when she said she didn't know the men in the club when she did. She had placed bets for Harvey and most likely indulged herself in this society. Harvey lied to Shawn when he said he didn't know Zulay when Shawn described her to him. When Shawn saw Harvey and her together he was probably thinking they had some kind of relationship and that Harvey was the father of Zulay's daughter.

Released both as Theatrical and Unrated version on one DVD, the unrated version features only some minor extended fight scenes and the biggest difference is a prolonged plot scene that runs over 2 minutes.
