The official X account of Laid-Back Camp announced the production of the fourth season of the anime series on Nov 9, 2024.

An illustration and a comment from the series’ original creator, Afro, were released alongside the announcement.

The new illustration features characters Ema Mizunami and Mei Nakatsugawa, who appeared in season 3.

Afro expressed excitement for the new season, hinting that the storylines of Ema Mizunami and Mei Nakatsugawa, who only appeared briefly in season 3 due to limited episodes, will be further explored in season 4.

The author also teased the return of a “fluffy white thing” in their comment.
