You will appreciate other movies if you watch this movie. I wanted to stop watching but had a theory. If this movie continues to be so bad (acting, plot, cinematography etc.) then you will appreciate other movies more. The ones with a good story, plot twist, acting and directing. This is an award winning director supposedly but cannot find any awards?
I don't write many reviews but this movie was so bad in so many ways right from the first frame and opening credits that I had to chime in. Immediately the 1st thing you notice is that the footage running under the opening credits looks like washed out stock footage from the 80s. Sadly this isn't the case and whoever was manning the camera had no idea what he/she was doing. In fact, most of the movie looks this way. Soft picture, dull colors and uncontrolled lighting that seems way too harsh most of the time... From scene to scene the overall look is so inconsistent it just kept me from ever actually caring about the storyline. The acting was also entry level amateur, the cinematography boring and the bargain basement cast of washed up has-been D-movie actors just didn't help at all. This kind of movie may be for some but was just a wasted night for me. I'd call it an exercise in mediocrity except that would be an undeserved compliment.
Complete rip off of the plot of Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window". There is nothing redeemable about this dumpster fire of a movie. From terrible, unnatural acting by actors nobody has ever heard of, poorly written and delivered dialogue (at least half of which is pointless and unnecessary), music that doesn't fit in most of the movie, to the boring inconsistent cinematography and lighting. This cringe movie is sure to be a tums festival for everyone who has the misfortune of viewing it.
I wouldn't normally be mad about losing $1.80, but I spent that at redbox to watch this garbage and I'm irritated. I've seen many horrible movies, but this is by far the absolute worst. It might have been better quality it was shot on a smartphone. The acting was so atrocious that I felt uncomfortable because I was so embarrassed for the cast.
This movie is an absolute pile of trash, terrible story, terrible acting, do yourself a favour and stay well clear of it, 90 minutes you will never get back.
